It’s been 25 years since the original Digimon Pendulum, and God I feel old. To celebrate this milestone, Bandai is releasing an updated version on their Premium Bandai store. There are three versions of the pendulum available for preorder: Nature Spirits, Deep Savers, and Nightmare Soldiers. If you were a fan of the original, or are looking for your very first V-Pet, these have some nice updates you are going to want to consider.
The pendulum now has a color LCD screen with updated art and animation for a cuter modern look. But if you are thirsty for nostalgia, the new Pendulum allows you to roll back to the original monochromatic look. There is also an updated accelerometer so you can train your Digimon when you are on the go. Best of all? The Digimon Pendulum is now rechargeable! No more switching batteries, just plug it in with the included USB-C cable and you are good to go.
The Pendulums cost $65. Preorders are open til November 1st, or until supplies run out. The product ships in May.

NIGHTMARE SOLDIERS ORIGINAL RED BLACK
I am starting with my personal favorite of the three, Nightmare Soldiers. I love the color, but love even more that it stars my favorite Digimon, Wizardmon. This version will also include the Loogamon lineup from the web novel, Digimon Seekers.
NATURE SPIRITS ORIGINAL SILVER BLUE
But if you want silver and blue, you can pick up the Nature Spirits Pendulum instead! This version will also include the Angoramon lineup from the Ghost Game anime.
DEEP SAVERS ORIGINAL BLUE ORANGE
Last but not least, we have the Deep Savers version in a very pretty blue and orange scheme. This version will also include the Jellymon lineup from the Ghost Game anime.
