Now is Your Chance to Score Some Chronicles of Arcane

Chronicles of Arcane is officially going on sale to the public on March 11. The drops will happen on the official site, so make sure you make an account and join the Discord to be ready for the announcement. They plan on releasing the set in batches to give people multiple chances to score product. The limited run means that this will be your only chance outside the Kickstarter to score some cards early. Don’t worry if you don’t get any this time around, I’m sure there will be reprints if the sale goes well. Don’t pay scalper prices!

If lore is important to you, the first bits of the backstory have been posted on the Chronicles of Arcane website. This goes over some of the tribes, and there are plans for expansion in the coming weeks. Make sure you check with them regularly or join the official Chronicles of Arcane Discord to stay on top of all the news.

Chronicles of Arcane will also be at Los Angeles Collect-A-Con this weekend. If you’re going to be there, make sure you stop by the booth, ask your questions, and score yourself some exclusive promos. Here are a few art cards that will be for sale:

From the Discord

As a collector, I think the art is really cool. There are some cards that would look great in a binder. I haven’t had a chance to play the game yet, but I thought I’d share it with those of you looking to get into a new trading card game.

If you enjoy these updates, please leave a like, comment, and share this with your friends. If you need accessories for your trading cards like deck boxes or sleeves, get them over at Gem Tech. Use discount code churapereviews10 for 10% off your order. It really helps me out.

Check Out the Upcoming Indie TCG, Chronicles of Arcane

I just came by the nifty indie TCG, Chronicles of Arcaneand thought I would share. The game has such a beautiful art style, and I love the fantasy vibe. The first set is getting ready to ship, so make sure you join the official Discord to stay on top of all the news. Until then, let’s look at some of the art featured in the first set of Chronicles of Arcane

Check out the Axiom Faction for the Upcoming Altered TCG

The Altered TCG Kickstarter was fully funded in only two minutes. Since then, it has continued to see support, and I can see why. The art is beautiful, the concept is neat, and the gameplay seems fun. I think it can break two million.

I’ve listed the starter deck lists, now let’s move on to the rest of the set. There are a lot of cool and interesting cards in this set, so let’s kick things off with Axiom.

If you want to try the game, the starter decks are available for print and play in both letter and A4 format. PnP support for the rest of the set is on the way. Looks like I’m going to need to buy a printer.

If you enjoy these updates, please leave a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends. Don’t forget to back the Kickstarter and join the Discord!

Check out the Bravos Starter Deck List: Altered TCG

The Altered TCG Kickstarter launched recently, and it was fully funded in two minutes. The campaign has blown well past its goals, and continues to gain traction. Altered attempts to redefine the TCG space with its creative gameplay and expansive world-building. I’m a huge fan of the art, and am curious to see how it plays. Check out my previous post for more details.

The Kickstarter introduces six distinct starter decks based on the factions that exist within the Asgartha peninsula. Let’s kick things off by looking at the Bravos starter deck! Note that you can only get Adventure cards from starter decks at launch, so it be a good idea to nab a few.

If you want to try out the Axiom starter deck, take advantage of the generous print-and-play feature on the official website. Join the Discord to stay up to date, and even make some friends. The campaign ends on February 28th, so don’t forget to back the Kickstarter!

There is a lot to be excited about, so let’s look at the spoilers. If you enjoy these updates, please leave a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends.

Neos

Toniris Level 3

Neos gives Tonoris the ability to summon an Obelisk each turn to help you control the battlefield. Obelisks have unique abilities, and they get big fast if they aren’t dealt with. It is a very cool mechanic for a very cool hero. Make sure you pick up the starter deck when it becomes available.

So Many Tokens

Neos gets stronger the more tokens are on the field, so make sure you fill it!

Neos Tonoris

Players who want to hit hard, have crazy board control, or just love the token meta should pick up the Tonoris starter deck and work their way out.

Astra

Astra gives players the power of the cosmos, and there is no hero better suited for its power than Arisanna. This gives players access to Starcalling which says:

While you’re glimpsing and you see a card with starcalling, you may activate it during that glimpse. In addition, paying to starcall a card is usually cheaper than playing and paying for it from your hand. However, whenever you do starcall a card, you must put all the remaining cards in your glimpse on the bottom of your deck.

This is such a cool ability, and one that you get for free each turn with Arisana at level 3.

Tools

Tools will let you glimpse and starcall, but make sure you do so efficiently.

Astra Arisanna

Astra make Arisanna an interesting deck, but it also makes her one of the harder decks to play because of how much you need to keep track of. If you love the thrill of top-decking, memory control, and deck manipulation, pick up Arisanna!

Umbra

Umbra gives Diana the power to cast curses at level 3, and curses make her scary. Each bullet she shoots generates a creeping tournament, and torments put attach a curse onto whatever champion Diana hits. I love the flavor of this mechanic. I might end up playing Umbra Diana because everything is purple.

Curses and Tools

Umbra Diana

If you like playing on your opponent’s turn, ranged characters, and casting curses, you should play Diana. I’m a huge fan of the flavor and color scheme myself.
