Check out the Muna Starter Deck List: Altered TCG

The Altered TCG Kickstarter launched recently, and it was fully funded in two minutes. The campaign has blown well past its goals, and continues to gain traction. Altered attempts to redefine the TCG space with its creative gameplay and expansive world-building. I’m a huge fan of the art, and am curious to see how it plays. Check out my previous post for more details.

The Kickstarter introduces six distinct starter decks based on the factions that exist within the Asgartha peninsula. Let’s kick things off by looking at the Muna starter deck! Note that starter decks are the only way to get Adventure cards at launch, so it might be good to buy a couple decks.

If you want to try out the Axiom starter deck, take advantage of the generous print-and-play feature on the official website. Join the Discord to stay up to date, and even make some friends. The campaign ends on February 28th, so don’t forget to back the Kickstarter!

If you enjoy these updates, make sure you leave a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends.

All the Black cards from Animal Colosseum – Digimon Card Game

Animal Colosseum releases on January 19th, so let’s look at the black cards hitting the format. There is a bit of overlap with my previous post. The monkeys are specifically spectacular, especially the Etemon. I love the flavor of the card and how vibrant the concert seems. Black is my least favorite color of the set so far, but I still see a couple of cards I’d love in my binder.

If you enjoy these updates, please leave a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends. If you want to can preorder Animal Colosseum or buy any of the existing sets like Blast ACE, get it over at TCG Player through my affiliate links!. I’ll also be leaving links to the singles where available, but I would hold off till after the set releases and the prices stabilize.

The new round of Pokémon’s Paradox Rift full art spoilers has some of the most beautiful cards you’re going to want to chase

We just got some more spoilers for the upcoming Paradox Rift set, and it is hard not to be excited. Especially when you see the alt art cards. This round of spoilers is full of cards you are going to want in your binder. Hopefully, the pull rates are better than 151. Paradox Rift releases on November 3rd. Where to Buy

If you’d like to preorder any Paradox Rift product, always check with your LGS, but I’ve collected a few options in case that isn’t an option. Use my TCG Player affiliate links when possible. Everything is in stock as of making this post, but I’ll do my best to keep them updated. And remember, with how much Pokémon overprints, it is never a good idea to pay scalper prices, especially on preorders.

Lorcana: Amber Ink Card List

Disney’s Lorcana comes out August 18th so lets get excited by looking at the Amber Ink card list. There are lots of cool looking cards that are going to look so good in a binder. Make sure you get all your Lorcana from your LGS and don’t forget to comment, like, subscribe, and share this with your friends!

I am loving the Lilo and Stitch cards. This set is starting off real strong, but I wonder if there will be alt art secret rares or special box toppers like you see in other TCGs to give collectors something to chase. Either way, I am very excited. How about you? Will you be buying into Lorcana?

This week on the Digimon TCG: July 25th

I know I am a little late on this update, but I just got back from vacation. The trip was great but now its time to get back on schedule. The Versus Royal Knights set has released and we got a few more reveals that have gotten me excited for the set. Always check with your LGS if they carry Digimon, but you can find the new set on TCG Player if they don’t. If you’ve been enjoying these updates, don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe, and share this with your friends.

Versus Royal Knights Box Toppers

The box toppers aren’t the most exciting I’ve seen, but I could always use some full art tamer cards. This set will feature trainers Digimon Savers.

Versus Royal Knights Alt Art Cards

This set has some very cool alt cards that I need in my binder. The gold cards in this set are sick!

The rest of the full art cards have gotten me very excited for this set. The art is so good!

More Versus Royal Knights Reveals

I wasn’t excited about the initial reveals, but they really did leave the best for last.

Beezlemon Premium Binder Set Preorder

Preorders for the Beezlemon binder set are still open. This is a cool product to buy into if you like Beezlemon and want some of the alt art cards to spice up your deck. The bundle comes with two copies of four new unique alt cards and a binder for your cards. The alt cards look sick and Premium Bandia merch always looks great quality out of the box.

Pokemon 151 set list revealed!

Pokemon has officially announced the complete card list for their upcoming Pokemon 151 set releasing in Japan on June 16th. The Western release is scheduled for September 22nd, so make sure you start saving up now! This set is simply beautiful. The regular set is nice, but the alt arts are amazing! The set will feature the original 151 Pokemon, including Kadabra which hasn’t been available in a card for 20 years. There are 165 cards in this set with a few alt arts to pad it out. I will have to try my hardest not to collect them all. I don’t normally buy Pokemon cards, but I might have to snag a couple of packs on my trip to Japan for the nostalgia.

Tamarak Trail: The Roguelike Deck-builder You Didn’t Know You Needed

Tamarak Trail is an interesting rogue-like deck builder coming to all major consoles and PC that looks like it will redefine the genre. A corruption is spreading across the Canadian Shield, and it is up to you to find the cause and put an end to it. The journey won’t be easy, and you won’t make it on your first try. Do you have what it takes to be the hero, or will you buckle under the weight of the mysterious corruption?

Players can choose from three classes: the tracker, magician, and detective. Each class has its unique sets of skills and abilities. What makes this game unique is its deck-building mechanic. Instead of decks, you customize dice that you roll to cast abilities. You can fully customize each dice to fit your play style, although the RNG might be a limiting factor. The devs have published an informative walkthrough video that best explains the game’s mechanics. I recommend you watch it and become as excited as I am for this title.

Tamarak Trail is looking really cool. The mechanics look like a lot of fun, and the art is beautiful. I love deck-builders, so there might be a bit of bias in my excitement. Regardless, I think this unique game deserves some love and attention. I’ll definitely be trying to get a copy to review.

Tamarak Trail is coming to PS4, Xbox, Switch, and PC via Steam and GoG. Don’t forget to add it to your Wishlist. There is also an official wiki you should bookmark that I am sure will have lots of useful tips and tricks at launch. Make sure you join the game’s Discord and follow the official Twitter to stay up to date on all the news.
