Aula x Epomaker F75 Max Review: The Best Budget Mechanical Keyboard

Features

Aula and Epomaker come together to make another spectacular, stylish compact keyboard that is ready to not only take on your next raid night, but upgrade your aesthetic. Whether you need a work horse for that nine to five, or a daily beater for your epic grind, the F75 Max is looking like a strong contender with a very reasonable price tag.

Aesthetic

The Aula x Epomaker F75 Max comes to us as a 75% keyboard with a TFT customizable screen and a knob. The 75% layout means that it is compact enough to fit on any desk, but with enough utility to make it worth it. The keyboard comes in four flavors: White Blue, Black, Pink White, and Caramel Pudding.

This keyboard looks great in every color, but all the keys and switches can be easily swapped if you ever want to change up the aesthetic. Each key is lit up by south facing LEDs for some added customization, but you can always use the keyboard with everything off.

Gimmicks

What makes this 75 a Max edition is its included TFT screen and Knob. The TFT screen displays useful information like date, time, battery life, and connection type. Meaning you don’t have to memorize any shortcuts to know how much gaming you have left on your current charge. Most notably, the keyboard comes with built in media and volume controls, so you never have to leave the game to adjust your volume.

Comfort

The F75 Max comes with a comfortable typing angle out of the box that should be suitable for most users. It does have a two-stage kickstand for people like me who prefer a steeper angle. The gasket design helps mitigate some of that sound so you still get that satisfying thack, without keeping the whole house up with your typing. Most importantly, the switches and the board give users the soft typing feel they crave at a very reasonable price.

The F is for Gaming

For those of you who need a little more utility for your gaming needs, the F75 Max is compatible with NKRO. The fast wireless connections on both wireless and bluetooth make it a strong competative tool, and the 1000hz poling rate on USB make it invaluable. There is a wired version for those who prefer the edge and don’t mind the cable clutter.

Performance

At this price, the F75 Max promises to be an unrivaled work horse. The switches promise long lasting, anti ghosting technology for accurate inputs out of the box. The impressive 4000 mAh battery promises about 30 hours of use with all of the lights on so you don’t have to worry about reaching for a wire during your most important team fight. Whether you need to spend long hours at the office or finish that last paragraph for finals, you can can count on the Aula x Epomaker F75 Max to be there for you.

Sound Test

Review

The Aula x Epomaker F75 Max is an impressive budget keyboard that has all the keys you need, plenty of the style you want, and all more utility than you can handle. If you are looking for an upgrade for your setup, make it the F75 Max.

Looks

These Aula colabs always look good. If your intention is to have a good looking keyboard that isn’t going to drain your bank account, these colabs are a great entry point. My issue with these colabs is that while they look good, they are hit or miss. Some of them look good, but have a general cheapness that can’t be ignored. Others strait up don’t worth. Luckily, the F75 Max seems to be a step in the right direction where you get a good amount of value and utility as well as a good looking keyboard. I got the Caramel Pudding keyboard and absolutely love the scheme. The other colors look good too, but the unique ones with the prints are fun.

Quality

With the F75 Max, you are still getting a cheap keyboard. If you’ve never used a finer keyboard, you won’t notice the flaws. But there is some cheapness. With the Carmel Pudding, some of the designs looks smudged and the print quality isn’t great. It doesn’t seem like they will rub off any time soon, but you can definitely buy better custom keycaps. For what it is it, the keyboard is still fun and looks nice on the table. The machining is fine, the keycaps feel nice to the touch, and all of the keys work. Most people will be impressed by the unique, and quirky vibe this keyboard will bring to your aesthetic.

Gimmicks

I’ve mentioned it before, I don’t care much for screens on my keyboards. It is nice to have a battery indicator, but I get a notification popup on screen when the battery is low anyways. Aside from the initial novelty, I never really look down to look at the screen. It is nice to have, but not as nice as the knob. The knob works as intended. It is smooth, responsive, and one of the features I look for in my keyboards.

Comfort

The F75 Max is small, but it doesn’t feel small. I have big hands and always worry when I get these types of keyboard, but I never had issues with the F75 Max. The keys feel really nice, and the switches are soft to reduce hand strain. The typing angle is perfect out of the box. Honestly, this is one of the rare instances where I didn’t have to adjust or get used to a keyboard. The F75 Max was comfortable out of the box.

Performance

I’ve used keyboards from this line that straight up didn’t work. I’ve had to change out switches or give up on them entirely. I am happy to report that I had no issues with the F75 Max. The keyboard works out of the box, with little noticeable latency. It handles my MMO grind on wireless comfortably and without issue. The battery life is incredible. It boasts 30 hours with all the lights on, and I got about that. I even lost the charging cable from how little I needed it throughout my testing. I don’t use any of the NKRO stuff for gaming, but I am sure it has its uses for those who need it.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a high quality budget keyboard with a cool aesthetic, get the Aula x Epomaker F75 Max. This is a fantastic entry mechanical keyboard at an unbeatable price. I definitely recommend it, especially if you don’t need to get that fancy with your setup.

The Galatin Pro K19 is a 96% wireless mechanical keyboard. This is a full sized keyboard that gives users to a function row and numb pad, but presents in a compact package to maximize desk space. The keyboard comes in a beautiful mint green scheme, with a customizable LED screen and RGB backlight.

Customization

The Galatin Pro gives users an enormous amount of versatility with easy customizable options. The 95 keys can be easily swapped to not only fit your aesthetic, but fit your typing preference. Not that you would want to. The default Mint Mambo switches promise a smooth typing feel with the typing ASMR you want from a keyboard.

Both the RBG and LED screen can be customized through the official software to fit your desired aesthetic. Each of the 95 keys can be easily rebound and programmed for some added utility. Weather you need a few macros for your editing or short cuts for productivity, the Galatin Pro is ready to meet your every need.

Comfort

The Galatin Pro’s gasket is angled to meet most comfortable typing standards, but there is additional height options available for those who need it. The gasket houses 5 layers of sound absorbing pads to keep that typing ASMR thacky without waking up the whole neighborhood. The key layout has been designed is compact, without scarifying any comfort. Users will find a delightful typing experience hidden under the mint green layout.

Performance

The Galatin Pro supports three, fast connections modes: Bluetooth, wireless, and wired. The keyboard’s impressive 4000mAh battery supports long sessions with either of the fast wireless connections. The keyboard can seemlessly switch between connections with the easy to access, side switch. Whether you need a keyboard that will keep up with your efficient DPS rotation, or just need to pound out all that last minute homework, the Galatin Pro has you covered.

Sound Test

Review

The Galatin Pro is a solid affiordable keyboard, if you’ve never used a nicer keyboard. While it has a very cool aesthetic and layout, I found the typing experience a bit lacking. It isn’t completely unusable, but I’d rather be using the Antonium K745 Pro.

Quality

The Galatin Pro is a cute keyboard out of the box. The pieces look well machined, and the font is clear and legible. After using the keyboard, it does feel a little cheap. The keys feel like plastic, and while they don’t destroy my hands, you might want to invest in some better keycaps. The switches feel fine, and the typing sound is a little ugly, but beater of a keyboard.

Comfort

I am not a fan of the keyboard’s typing experience. It feels a little too crunchy, and I don’t like the feel of the cheap keycaps. However, if this is your budget, you can do a lot worse. While this isn’t a strictly ergonomic keyboard, it did not trigger my repetitive stress injury. I was able to enjoy long sessions with the Galatin Pro without any pain, which is a huge positive. While this isn’t a strictly ergonomic keyboard, it did not trigger my repetitive stress injury. One of the dangers of testing these budget keyboards is that they can leave my hands useless. I’ve cut tests short in the past, and I was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t have to this time around. I’ll still be switching back Antonium K745 Pro because I prefer the typing experience and gimick a little more, but the Galatin is still a solid option.

Gimmick

The Galatin Pro has a customizable LED screen that displays useful information like time, battery life, and connection type. I have never been to crazy about screens on my keyboard because I never look at them. Not that I was able to customize the screen in the first place. I was able to get the date and time, but I never got the GIF to work. I’m not buying this keyboard for the LED screen. I am buying this keyboard for the volume nob. I don’t know how much I miss having a volume mod until I am forced to use keyboards without one. The knob feels great, it is very responsive, and it controls my media. The knob steals the show, and it always gets a lot of use in my workflow.

Performance

I had no issues with the Galatin Pro out of the box. There was no noticeable latency or ghosting. The keyboard does include four extra switches in case any issues arise. I am happy to report, none ever during my week of hard typing. The Galatin Pro handled a few fast past shooters and a good amount of MMO grind without issue. I am not a pro player, but I didn’t notice any drop in perfrormance. The battery life is impressive and gave me about 9 hours of use on a single charge with all the lights on. I guess the LED is nice for keeping up with your battery life.

Conclusion

The Galatin Pro is a cool looking mechanical keyboard, especially at this budget. The colors are fun, and I like the compact design. You get a full sized keyboard, but it doesn’t feel like it takes up the same amount of space. I would probably swap out the keycaps for something nicer. This shouldn’t be a problem if you’ve never tried anything nicer. Galatin Pro is a solid starter mechanical keyboard that should fit most use cases until you are ready for the upgrade.

The K745 Pro is a the affordable fullsized keyboard that is loaded with the features gamers need. This good looking keyboard comes in two beautiful color shemes: Purple and Blue. I got my keyboard in purple because it is my favorite color. I got the wireless keyboard, but you can also opt for the wired version if you want to prioritize performance.

Design

The K745 Pro comes with 108 keys, and an additional four useful macros for additional utility. Each key lights up with programmable southfacing RGB leds. The specialized gasket design gives the keyboard enough sound dampening to allow a healthy amount of typing ASMR. The K745 is built with quality, with enough features to make it a strong contender for your next setup.

Comfort

While other cheap keyboards skimp on quality for affordability, Redragon innovates the space with affordability that won’t destroy your hands. The custom Mint Mambo switches boast the perfect blend of performance and comfort, while the keyboards natural typing angle is perfect for most users. Those who prefer a steeper angle like I do will appreciate the two additional height adjustments. This is an ergonomic keyboard with the performance to back it up.

Utility

Users will appreciate the high speed wireless connections with the peace of mind that the 4000 mAh battery gives them. The included high quality USB-C cable is ready to support players with an even faster connection. Each of the keys can be easily rebound or programed with useful macros to upgrade your productivity. While the keyboard is incredibly easy to remap, the K745 comes with four useful macro keys out of the box.

Keyboard sound

Review

If you are looking for an affordable full-sized keyboard for gaming, it doesn’t get much better than the Redragon K745 Pro. This is easily one of the best affordable keyboards I’ve gotten to try. This keyboard is comfortable, with enough quality and performance to make it worth the money.

Quality

I was impressed by the look of the keyboard out of the box. At this price point, you always run the risk of pulling a cheap, toy looking keyboard, but the K745 has solid construction. It is light, so it makes it nice to move around, but I wouldn’t call it portable. The legs swivel nicely and the typing sound is very good. My only complaint is that the lettering already looks faded. It looks like it will rub off after a bit of use, although none of it did during my testing.

Design

I love the purple scheme of the keyboard. Purple is my favorite color, so I am very happy with my choice. I am a little disappointed by the lettering. The letters looks faded and it feels like they will rub off with a bit of use. None of it did during my testing, but I am not a fan. The font is also a bit hard to read. This might be a personal issue, but the font is not good for my dyslexia. It isn’t unusable, but I’d probably swap them out for different keycaps if it became my main keyboard.

Comfort

I was very surprised by how comfortable the K745 is. The keys have enough spacing for my big hands, and the switches are soft enough to avoid any fatigue. I’ve tried other keyboards at this price point that have destroyed my hands, but I had no issues with the K745. I had a few intense gaming sessions and not only did the K745 meet my expectations, they didn’t tire me out. The default typing angle is solid, but I like that it supports my preferred angle. I like my keyboards a little high. As an added bonus, the keyboard has a fantastic typing sound without being disruptive. I could use this next to my sleeping wife and baby without issue.

Performance

I did not do any reprogramming, but it is very easy to do with the official software. Everything connected easily and quickly, and I had no issues after initial setup. All the keys were responsive without any noticeable latency. The battery was very good and I got a good 8 hours of continuous work with the RGB on. My favorite aspect of this keyboard is the included macros. I usually forget about a keyboard’s gimmicks shortly after opening, but I had a lot of use for the included macros. They were very handy for my workflow, but they can be reprogrammed to maximize utility.

Conclusion

The Redragon K745 Pro is a fantastic affordable keyboard for the gamer that needs to perform at their next important team fight, but needs to be conscious of their budget. I am very satisfied with how good this keyboard is, especially at $60. I recomend it to anyone looking for a full sized keyboard.

Unboxing

Features

The Epomaker QK108 is the fullsized keyboard that promises to be the only keyboard a gamer needs to upgrade their arsenal.

Design

The QK108 is a classic looking keyboard with a bit of a modern flare. It only comes in one color, but it is a very classy green, white, and green scheme. All 104 cherry profile keycaps are hot swappable and sit on your choice of the Epomaker Wisteria Linear or Sea Salt Silent switches. The Wisterias are those who are looking for that thacky mechanical keyboard sound, and the silent ones are self explanatory.

Each key is illuminated with soft sout-facing rgb for visabililty, but they can be easily turned off with the dedicated onboard button. The onboard volume and media controls bring this keybaord to a modern audience. What sets the QK108 apart the customizable screen that displays important information like date, time, and battery life.

Comfort

The QK108 features a padded, five layer gasket so that the sound of your typing never becomes a noise violation. The default typing angle should satisfy most users, but the added adjustable height makes the keyboard perfect for all users. The stands also store the wireless dongle for easy storage and travel.

Utility

This fullsized keyboard is ready to take on any workflow, giving users access to a well placed function bar and numbpad for those who need it. Each of the 104 keys can be easily customized through VIA for some added utility. Users can remap, rebind, and program the maccros to get the job done.

Gamers will appreciate the boasted fast, low latency wireless connection that is ready to take on the most competitive scenarios. As an added bonus, the QK108 sports an impressive 4000mAh battery. Users can enjoy long gaming sessions without worrying about reaching for a charger mid raid boss. When the battery eventually dies, users will appreciate the high speed wired connection.

Sound Test

Review

If you are looking for a more traditional looking keyboard that will blend into the office aesthetic, the QK108 is a fine full-sized keyboard, but it falls a little short. Unfortunately, my keyboard started to malfunction shortly after unboxing. The keyboard works great until it goes to sleep. If I am using the dongle, it won’t reconnect automatically. I have to restart the keyboard. If I am on Bluetooth, the keyboard shuts off after a few seconds of sitting idle. This makes using shortcuts a pain. It works fine wired, but that sort of defeats the purpose. If I reach out, it will get replaced, but it has lost my confidence.

Quality

Out of the box, the keyboard looks fine. It is a clean keyboard that looks well machined. I like the classic feel of the keyboard and the minty green accents to give my setup a bit of color. When I started using the keyboard, the keycaps feel cheap. This is only a problem if you’ve tried better keycaps, but you should be using better keycaps if you are typing for long hours. I would rather be using the G84 pro if I am being honest, especially if you don’t really need a keypad.

Gimmick

I am pretty indifferent about keyboards with screens. They are nice for the first few moments after unboxing, but I quickly forget I have one. I guess it is handy to be able to see the battery life, but I never have use for a clock or gifs. My keyboard never showed me if I switched to mac mode. The volume and media controls are invaluable, and the nob is very nice.

Comfort

The QK108 is fine for short burst, but it did start getting uncomfortable after a while. The typing sound is fantastic, the typing angle is perfect, but I can’t get over how uncomfortable the keycaps are. They can be easily swapped for better keycaps. At $90, it is a viable solution, but I rather be using the Epomaker TH108.

Performance

Aside from the connection issue, the keyboard works fine. I didn’t notice any ghosting or latency, and I never had connection issues in game. The issue was when I let it idle and sleep, and it only affected my work. I wasn’t able to test the battery because I switched to wired when I started experiencing connection issues. As a wired keyboard, it works great, but I expect my wireless keyboard to work without wires.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a fullsized keyboard, you can do better. Get the TH108. This keyboard is fine, especially if you are looking for a more classic looking keyboard, but the malfunction out of the box makes it hard to recommend. Buy at your discretion.

The cute cat theme is unique and flavorful, and perfect for you cat lovers who are looking for a comfy aesthetic.

Design

If you love cute cats, it doesn’t get cuter than the KiiBOOM Meow Pudding keycap set. Each keycap features a unique and adorable cat design. The set includes a few extra keys for some added customization. These colorful keycaps have been treated to avoid any fading or discoloration, even for those who like to mash their keys furiously. For added flare, the key caps are transparent. While they look cute out of the box, they are even cuter with the light show.

Comfort

The Meow Pudding keycaps have been designed with more than just a cute aesthetic in mind. The MAO profile caps have been engineered to reduce finger fatigue without affecting any of the accuracy. The matte finish give the caps a soft, non-slip feel that makes typing as delightful as the keycaps.

The swap

Review

The KiiBOOM Meow Pudding keycaps are by my favorite set that I have ever received. I have never been so excited for a review product until I got this request. If you’ve seen the pictures, they really don’t do the set any justice. This is the cutest set you should always say yes to.

Quality

I can always count on KiiBOOM to deliver cute, high-quality products at a reasonable price. The Meow Pudding keycaps do not disappoint. The keycaps are well machined, each piece carefully and perfectly machined. The colors are vibrant and the images and letters are clear and legible. The plastic feels soft and smooth like candy rather than the cheap plastic that cuts you.

Design

The Meow Pudding is without a doubt the cutest KiiBOOM keycap set. The amount of work that goes into the flavor and aesthetic is astounding. I also like that there is room for some customization so I can try to be a bit more different. The only only bad thing about the design is how much my daughter loves it. She essentially stole this keyboard from me, and I have keep stealing it back to do my testing. While it will be hers in the end, I will have trouble letting this one go because it is so darn cute.

Comfort

The keycaps are smooth, with a slight texture on the face that give the keyboard its unique typing experience. The MAO profile keycaps do take some getting used to, but once I got used to them, it is going to be hard to go back. I like how they sort of hug my fingertips with each press, and my hands do feel a little less stressed as a result. The smooth matte texture also make the experience delightful. It feels like like I am plugging away at glass. As an added bonus, they gave my keyboard some added thac for some very satisfying typing ASMR.

Conclusion

If you like cute cat themes, vibrant pastells, and a unique typing experience, the KiiBOOM Meow Pudding keycaps are fantastic. They are made with the high standards I’ve come to expect from KiiBOOM. I am a huge fan and my only complaint is that I have to give them up for my next review.

This is the coolest keyboard I’ve gotten to try, and the perfect way to start my year. The Epomaker G84 Pro is the perfect upgrade for any setup, especially for those looking to create a cool cozy aesthetic.

The G84 Pro is impressive out of the box. The build is solid and clean, and the pieces feel high quality. The keycaps are soft, but they feel sturdy enough to survive some intense button mashing. They survived some very sweaty team fights. The G84 Pro looks like a more expensive keyboard out of the box, and it is quite comfortable once you get going.

Comfort

This is by far the most comfortable mechanical keyboard I have ever tried. The default typing angle is fine out of the box, but I prefer a taller angle. The keyboard looks compact, but it has enough space where my hands don’t feel cramped. All the keys are easily in reach which makes it perfect for gaming. I did a good amount of grinding in GW2.

The keycaps and switches is what makes this keyboard perfect. The switches offer the creamiest soothing sound and the keycaps are incredibly soft. The silicon is firm enough to perform well at any task but soft enough to give your hands some much needed rest. Usually it takes me a couple of days to get used to a new keyboard, but the transition was instantaneous. I noticed no fatigue from my longer sessions, and that alone makes this keyboard worth it.

Performance

They keyboard worked well out of the box. I didn’t need to replace any parts or do any trouble shooting. I noticed no ghosting or latency, and it was able to handle my most competitive games (GW2). Switching between connections is very easy, especially since it can handle multiple Bluetooth devices. If you are looking for a cool looking keyboard that works, get the G84 Pro.

The bad

I think the silicon keycaps are an acquired taste. Without the RGB, the keyboard looks interesting and elegant. When you turn the keyboard on, the light show sort of ruins the image. It is a little too much of a rave for my taste and it clashes with my aesthetic. It isn’t a bad look, I am just not a fan of the lighting effects.

The gimmick

The G84 Pro has three gimmicks: the silicon keycaps, the screen, and the volume/media controls. I’ve already said my piece about the keycaps. Screens on keyboards are cool for the first few moments before the novelty wears off. I had fun picking a gif to customize the look of the keyboard, but I don’t look down enough at my keyboard for it to be the reason to buy the keyboard. The volume control is very cool and easily my favorite feature. It is easy to reach and I like that it doesn’t break up the aesthetic like your standard nob. Clicking the side of the keyboard to pause a video felt right. All in all, the G84 Pro wastes no space on extras. All the features feel right at home.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a cool looking keyboard and don’t mind the rubber look of the keycaps. The look isn’t all too bad especially since you can turn off the rgb or customize the effects. What I love the most is its unique and efficient design. The G84 Pro is easily my favorite keyboard because it is incredibly comfortable and it has all the keys I need to play Guild Wars 2.

The Epomaker TH33 keypad is the keypad you need when you need a few extra keys to get the job done. Whether you need it for some serious accounting or a few extra macros, this little keycap is a promising addition to any setup.

Design

The TH33 keypad has a simple and clean design to fit most perfessional settings, but each of the 33 keys and switches are easily hotswappable to allow some personlization. The light weight design and sturdy build make it ideal for travel without feeling or looking cheap. The look wouldn’t be complete without that soft south facing RGB that gives the keypad some flare without being too distracting. It can be shutoff if you are only in it for the function.

Comfort

The TH33 boasts an ergonomic design, ready for the most serious number crunching. The native 6 degree typing angle can be adjusted to create the perfect fit and the keycaps have been contoured for the ideal typing feel. The TH33 features a gasket design the creates the perfect creamy sound for those who need a bit of typing ASMR while they work.

Performance

The TH33 houses an impressive 2000mAh battery for those long work sessions. The boasted low latency and high polling rate make it ideal for any workflow. Most importantly, the each key can be easily reprogrammed through VIA for an endless amount of utility. Whether you need an accounting tool or a dedicated macropad, the TH33 is ready for the assignment.

Review

If you are looking for a keypad with extra room for activities, you need the TH33. This light weight, handy tool can upgrade your productivity without taking up too much of your precious desktop real estate.

Quality

I was a little disappointing when I first opened the box because the keypad does look like plastic. It doesn’t look bad, but it does look like a toy. On further inspection, I was relieved to find it to be a high quality accessory. While the light weight keypad does feel like plastic, everything has been well machined. At least, it doesn’t look or feel like it will fade after a few uses.

Comfort

The TH33 is fine out the box. The default typing angle allows for the hand to sit in a more natural position, and the option to adjust the height makes it perfect for most hands. I prefer a taller angle and found it a very comfortable solution. The switches are soft and responsive. The keycaps look cheap, but feel fine. I appreciate that the have been contoured to fit the finger to make each press delightful and precise. The TH33 is a comfortable and powerful keypad.

Performance

The TH33 met my expectations for a key pad. I appreciate the long battery life. I’ve been using it for two weeks now and haven’t had to charge it, even with the RBG on. I would say for those who need it more regularly, the keyboard will get at least 10 hours of continuous use, but you can always turn off the RGB for a longer session if needed. The keypad is as responsive as needed. I didn’t notice any latency or ghosting in my two weeks.

My only issue with the keypad is that it does feel like it has a few extraneous buttons. Having volume controls is fantastic, but things like the arrow keys feel unnecessary. Unless you don’t have them on your laptop, you are getting a few extra buttons that you might not use unless you reprogram the keypad. Luckily, reprogramming the TH33 through VIA is very easy. You can easily add macros or remap keys for functions you actually need. This is the keypad you get when you either need a few extra macros or you need a d macropad that is simple and doesn’t take too much space.

Conclusion

If you need something a little bigger than your typical numbpad, the TH33 is great option. It is simple, clean, and quality enough to survive some travel. This is the keypad you get only if you need the extra keys, otherwise, you can make due with the Epomaker EK21. I like the keypad and even got some use by creating a few useful shortcuts for my data entry, but I wouldn’t call it an essential part of my kit. It does make my workflow a bit more convenient and that alone has some value.

If you are looking for your first mechanical keyboard, it might be worth looking into the The Mechlands Vibe108. The Vibe108 is loaded with the features you need, and a few you didn’t know you needed.

Aesthetic

The Vibe108 comes in white with a soft pastel blue accent to give it that cozy feel you want on your table. Each 104 key is lit up by soft south-facing RBG. It can’t be a gaming keyboard without some RGB. It comes with a few preprogrammed profiles for added customization, but you can turn it off when you don’t want to have the light show. I am a big fan of the soft strop that lights up the sides of the board.

Gimick

The Vibe108 is a full-sized keyboard with all the keys you need for your workflow. You get a number pad, a function bar, and media controls. The Vibe108 features easily accessible media buttons and a dial for volume control. You don’t know how nice it is too have media control until you have them.

Comfort

The Vibe108 mechanical keyboard comes out of the box with a comfortable typing angle, but offers adjustable heights for those who need it. I like my keyboards at the highest setting. Whether you are using the Mechlands cream mint switches for the typing asmr or the vela silent switches for a bit more stealth, you can be assured you are getting a comfortable yet satisfying typing experience.

Performance

At this price point, the Vibe108 promises peak performance at a very reasonable price. Especially for the price point.

The keyboards switches offer fast and accurate imputs with no ghosting or noticeable latency. Users can enjoy a fast connection through the supported wired, wireless, and Bluetooth connections. With an impressive 10,000mAh, users can enjoy long interrupted workflow hours without having to plug back in. Enjoy up to 200 hours of use without any of the backlights on a single charge!

Most importantly, the keyboard can be customized with the macros and rebinds you need in your life.

Review

Out of all the Mechlands keyboards I have tried, the Vibe108 with the silent switches has been my favorite. If you are looking for a full-sized keyboard to upgrade your current set-up, the Mechlands Vibe108 is the perfect place to start.

Quality

The quality of Mechlands keyboards tends to fluctuate, but they really stepped up their game with the Vibe 108. The gasket is well machined and light, and the keys looks like they can take a pounding. They still feel cheap if you take the time to really examine them (or know what nice keycaps feel like), but most people aren’t going to notice. Out of the box, this keyboard looks and feels like it should be worth a bit more money.

Comfort

The Vibe108 is Mechlands’ most comfortable keyboard. It is a good size that allows enough spacing for my hands to sit in a comfortable position. The typing angle out of the box is good enough for most users, and the extra height is perfect for me.

I got the silent switches. While I do like having a more thacky sound to my typing, my wife really appreciates the silence. These switches are incredibly quiet while still offering a satisfying typing experience. Each press is soft, with enough feedback to feel good without causing any fatigue. I daily drove this keyboard longer than my usual test period because of how comfortable it is to use. While it isn’t marketed as an ergonomic solution, it never triggered my repetitive stress injury and that is a huge win for me.

Performance

I got about 10 hours of use before needing to charge the keyboard, but I don’t think I ever charged it all the way. There was no noticeable latency and gaming was comfortable. I was able do a good amount of grinding in Guild Wars 2 without issue.

Conclusion

The Vibe108 is my favorite Mechlands keyboard. I will be recommending it to anyone who needs a full sized keyboard but doesn’t want to spend much money. This is a very pretty keyboard the is the perfect size for my workflow with the customization I need to make it future proof. Quality

KiiBOOM consistantly delivers high quality keyboards and accessories at a very reasonable price point. My keyboard was kicked around by my mail man and came in pieces. I was able to put it back together and noticed no performance dips. Not only is this the ideal keyboard for a tinkerer, but it speaks highly of the high quality production that went into Moonshadow V2. Everything on this keyboard is cleanly machined for an elegant piece of tech that I am proud to display on my desk.

Comfort

The switches are a bit on the heavier side. It took a little longer to get used to, but now I am having trouble going back. The heavy feedback that comes with every press is such a satisfying feeling, and they don’t destroy my hands as much as other cheap keyboards have. The stock typing angle is perfect for my needs, and the keys feel very nice under my fingertips. The Moonshadow V2 may not be strictly ergonomic, but it is comfortable enough for the long hours I need it for. I’m on my keyboard an average 10 hours a day.

Performance

The Moonshadow V2 is ready to handle any workflow. I used mine for data entry, writing, and gaming without issue. It doesn’t seem like the rough shipping had any effect. I was able to enjoy 10 hours of uninterrupted wireless use with no noticeable latency. This was with all the RGB on.

Conclusion

The Moonshadow V2 is my favorite keyboard I’ve received from any company. I am a huge fan of the elegant aluminum frame and stylish color scheme, but the typing experience is where the V2 just wins. If are looking for the perfect mechanical keyboard that you don’t have to build yourself, the KiiBOOM Moonshadow V2 is the perfect place to start. You can even customize it with one of the beautiful keycaps like the Dough Fluff set. They keyboard has good battery life, and it handles all my workflow perfectly. I love that there is room for customization for added utility.

Features

Epomaker has dropped the RT85 mechanical keyboard, and its unique design is ready to upgrade any setup. The RT85 comes in two flavors, Grey and Green, with either the Wisteria V2 Linear switches or Creamy Jade switches. This review will be on the Wisteria switches.

Design

The RT85 is a compact 75% keyboard, which is the perfect size for most workflows. All 82 keys are comfortably supported by one of two patent switches: the wisteria or jades. The difference is the sound, witch wisteria giving off more of a thack while the jades give a smoother creamier sound. The choice is all up to preference. Each switch and high quality keycap is easily swappable for when you are ready for a change in aesthetic.

This compact mechanical keyboard has a respectable 5 degree typing angle, but can be adjusted to 6.7 and 10 degrees. While the native is nice, I do prefer the steeper angler personally. Speaking of comfort, the wisteria switches offer just enough resistance to offer a satisfying amount of feedback with each keystroke. The actuation can be personalized for added comfort.

The Epomaker RT85 sports a unique design. Users will appreciate the retro aesthetic and two impressive color schemes. The green white gives it an army vibe, and the white grey has the splash of color to brighten up any setup. The keyboard also has a few gimmicks that help set it apart from others in the market. The magnetized plate helps hide the 2.4Ghz dongle neatly, the customizable LCD screen shows useful information, and there it uses a dial to switch between connections. My favorite feature is the joystick used for volume and rgb controls. Epomaker got very creative with the RT85, but it has enough function to make it worth some consideration.

Performance

The RT85 has supports a high speed, low latency wireless connection, boating up to 1000HZ polling rate. The 8000mAh offers users with up to 320 hours with everything off, or up to 24 hours with everything on. In addition, everything on this keyboard, including the LCD screen and joystick, can be easily remapped and customized for maximum workflow compatibility. Whatever you need this keyboard to do, you can be sure it will look cool doing it.

Sound Test

The RT85 with the wisteria switches has a very satisfying thock if you enjoy that typing ASMR. However, keep in mind that this keyboard is loud. People around you will hear you typing feriously, and some people will find it annoying.

Review

The Epomaker RT85 is a solid keyboard with a very cool design. If you like the aesthetic, especially the color scheme, the key board should be in your cart. While I did have a few issues with the keyboard, there isn’t much better at the price point.

Performance

I was very satisfied with how the RT85 handled my workflow. I noticed no latency for gaming, and I do a bit of Guild Wars pvp, nor any ghosting. I’ve had issues with budget keyboards being faulty, but there were no issues after a week of heavy use. I test my keyboards for about twelve hours for most of the week between reviews. Although the preprogrammed RGB profiles are limiting, they work.

The connection dial is easily accessible, smooth to operate, and it switches the connections quickly. Both wireless and Bluetooth connections are stable from at about 5 feet away. I used it with my standing desk no issue. Most importantly, the battery is excellent. With everything on, I did get about 24 hours of continuous use. I did not test it without the lights because I saw no point. The keyboard looks so pretty.

Aesthetics

The RT85‘s unique design make it the statement piece of any setup. The keyboard is very well manufactured. The keycaps are all printed nicely on pretty decent keycaps. They aren’t the best, but they are a solid starter option. The LCD is very clear, and I like how they chose a font that reinforces the retro aesthetic. The added information is nice to have, and it sits at the perfect location. While still feels a bit unnecessary, I find myself looking at the screen a lot more than others keyboards with a similar gimick.

The magnetic plate that hides the wireless dongle is a very cool idea. It is not only functional, it keeps the keyboard looking clean. The connection dial is a very nice touch. I love how it looks on the keyboard and that it is easily accessible. I swap between devices a lot during my testing and hate when the switch is on the bottom or in an awkward space in the back because it disrupts my workflow. While the feature isn’t going to save me a life-changing amount of time, it is nice not to have to fidget with my keyboard everytime I want to switch devices.

The joystick is where I am most conflicted. On one hand, it looks very cool. The RGB makes it pop and the controls are useful. That said, I rather have a dial for my volume controls. Flicking the joystick just feels awkward, but that is a personal preference.

Comfort

The RT85 is a solid keyboard, but it isn’t exactly comfortable. If you are only using it for only a few hours and don’t have a repetitive stress injury, you should be fine. If you are looking for a keyboard with a design that will ease up some hand pain, I would keep looking. While the RT85 didn’t leave my hand completely useless as some cheaper options I’ve tried, I do notice the pain after a couple hours. I do have to take breaks frequently, and I am struggling to finish this review. To be clear, this is a personal issue that isn’t going to affect everyone. My injuries are bad, so your mileage will vary. I might just be too big for this keyboard.

Conclusion

If the RT85 didn’t hurt my hands, it would be my daily driver. The keyboard looks very cool and it can handle my workload. With its solid battery life, and interesting gimmicks, it is a very solid option at this price point.
