If you are looking for a budget headset that not only sounds good, but also makes your voice beautiful, you might want to reach for the Epomaker GX1 gaming headset. This stylish headset is ready to let you take command of the next fight, or when you’re ready to jump into the newest Grand Theft Auto game.

Listen in Style

Listen in style with the stylish new GX1 wireless headset. The GX1 is available in three colors: white, black, and pink. I got mine in pink because it is my favorite color, but don’t be afraid to get into one of the more boring colors. Based on what I got, they are going to look just as good (although I am clearly biased).

The stylish modern design gives you the esports look for when you’re ready for your next stream, or just a personal glow-up for those long gaming sessions (those of you who can still afford to game all day. Treasure it!). The fake leather padding make it look more elegant, but I have never been a fan of the material. The earmuffs may be swappable, but the material starts looking rough after a while. Finally, it wouldn’t be a gaming headset without the RGB and this has a beautifully subtle lighting effect on the earmuffs for those of you who want RGB on everything. You can turn it off if you want to be boring though.

Performance

The GX1 is Epomaker’s open back headphones. The open back design coupled with the 55mm dynamic drivers offer the bass you want and the high quality soundstage you’ve been searching for. Gamers and fans of ASMR will appreciate the effective 7.1 surround sound (only available in Bluetooth mode). The GX1 allows for three connections: Wireless through the dongle, Bluetooth 5, and through USB. You can enjoy the same high quality sound on either connection, but you never have to worry about being out of the action because your device. Or if you’re me, you can seamlessly switch between as much as you need.

Those of you who want to minimize their wire clutter can enjoy the impressive 2000mAh battery. That means you are never out of the action when you need it the most. The headset boasts 30 hours with all the lights, and about 70 hours without. When the battery does wind down, the headset delivers a gentle warning without interrupting any of your audio. That means you aren’t missing the most exciting part of your drama, and you can quickly connect with the included high quality cable to stay in the action.

For those of you who need a mic, the Epomaker GX1 has an ENC noise cancelling mic that is detachable. That means that the people on the other side can enjoy your beautiful voice without any of the unnecessary ambiance. The mic is also detachable for those of you who need it for travel. If you are looking for a new headset, the GX1 is definitely looking like a strong contender.

Review

If you are looking for a cheap headset that works well, looks good, and is comfortable, Epomaker has an answer with the GX1 gaming headset. While I wouldn’t call it your next audiophile solution nor your next podcast mic, it is good enough for most uses. You are getting a lot of value at this price point, for a product that you are going to use regularly. If you don’t have money for a more professional setup, you can’t go wrong with the GX1.

Quality

I was very impressed with the quality of the GX1 out of the box. Everything looks cleanly machined with no visible signs of cheapness or imperfections. The headset is a good weight: heavy enough to feel like a quality product, but not so heavy that it is uncomfortable. The padding is soft and spongy, but I fear the leather material isn’t going to survive the year. The material is already cracked after two weeks of use, but at least it isn’t pealing yet. The padding is replaceable, but it doesn’t seem worth it. At least not at this price point.

The mic is my favorite bit of the GX1. The stem is sturdy and flexible, allowing users to always find the perfect position regardless of face size and shape (I have a very fat face). The padding that goes over the mic seems fine, but I am not versed enough to know how effective it is at its job.

The overall product feels sturdy. The bridge can handle a healthy amount of flex, so at least it won’t snap on you when you try to put it on. The bridge also offers a good amount of pressure to minimize movement but without hurting your head (so long as you’re sitting down). For $50, you are getting a good quality product ready to play your favorite songs.

Audio

The audio on the GX1 is fine. I found it a little flat for my taste, but its fine for most uses. If you aren’t paying for that top tier Tidal subscription, these will do the job. I tried out the different sound modes: 7.1 surround, movie, and music. Music is on by default and is probably the best sounding of the three. Movie does make the voice a little clearer, but it doesn’t really make the movie sound better. I didn’t really notice much of the 7.1 effect, at least not in a way that it is meaningful enough for gaming. I would just leave the settings as is or use third party software to adjust the levels if you’re feeling fancy.

Personal, I prefer the sound of the Redragon Zues H510 as far a budget headsets go, but the sound is good enough for those who don’t want an extra cable.

Performance

The GX1 works as intended. I was able to switch between the three different connections quickly and seamlessly. This included switching between devices, and yes I got to use all of the connections. Bluetooth is very easy to connect and reset in case you need to switch devices. The dongle is easy to use, and is compatible with both USB-C and USB-A connections. This allowed me to use the headset for work computer (my clients appreciate the better voice quality), my gaming computer (perfect for my ASMR), and on my phone (for D&D night!). There was no noticeable difference in any of the connections. The fact that the USB-C dongle pugs into a USB-A adapter is futuristic AF and I love it!

Now the range of the connection is reasonable. You can hear everything from the same room, but you might start losing connection in other rooms. This is only a problem when you walk into the kitchen for a snack and want to continue listening to your favorite podcast. It isn’t really an issue if you press pause.

The battery is impressive. The advertising boasts 30 hours of battery life, and I got just about that with all of the lights on. I didn’t test the life without the RGB because I am vain and prefer how it looks with the RGB.

Conclusion

If you are looking for an affordable headset that works for most of your needs, the Epomaker GX1 is a valid option. You get a good looking headset with enough quality to be worth the price tag. Epomaker just released its affordable, lightweight mouse that has everything you need to get you gaming comfortably. From its sleek ergonomic design to its long lasting battery, the Epomaker Nex Lite is ready to upgrade your setup at a very reasonable price.

Design

The Nex Lite is has been designed for both style and comfort. The mouse is available in four colors: black, blue, pink, and white. I got it in Pink because I get everything in pink and have no regrets.

This is a modern looking mouse with a screen that gives readers information like the current poling rate, the connection type, and the battery level. The included charging port displays the same information. Its ergonomic design is the perfect fit for medium and large hands. As someone with big hands, I have never felt more comfortable. As a nice little bonus, you get the full gaming power of RGB in both the mouse and the charging port. If you don’t want to maximize your gaming power, the RGB can be turned off for a more simplistic arrangement.

Performance

The Nex Lite is ready to bring up your dpf with its fast and seamless wireless connections. The stylish charging port doubles as a fast acting wireless dongle, but the mouse is ready for Bluetooth and wired connections when you need them the most. For those who want less wire clutter, the Next Lite boasts 50 hours of continues use on a single charge. That means you don’t have to worry about reconnecting mid team fight! With the adjustable polling rate at a press of a button, Epomaker has truly made a mouse that is ready for everything.

Review

I did not know what to expect from Epomaker’s $35.99 wireless mouse. The Carbonis had set such a high bar, and I braced myself for disappointment. I wasn’t ready for a smooth, textureless mouse. Luckily, the Nex Lite understood the assignment and exceeded my expectations. This affordable little mouse not only gets the job done right, it looks cool (which is arguably more important).

Quality

Everything on the Nex Lite is clean out of the box. It is well machined with no noticeable imperfections, and the light weight design doesn’t feel cheap. All of the buttons work and give off that satisfying click ASMR my body craves. The scroll wheel feels fantastic to the touch with a very smooth and accessible glide. Most importantly, the screen is clear and legible.

Aesthetic

This is a very classic looking mouse, but with a tangible ergonomic feel. I am a huge fan of the shape because of how modern it looks, but it is also comfortable enough for these tired old hands. The screen makes it look modern, but I hardly ever look down at at it. I still haven’t quite figured out how to turn on the screen to check the battery, but I guess its a good thing the dock has it as well.

The RGB on the mouse does seem unnecessary. It looks very cool when its on the table, but I don’t notice it when I’m using it. I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off, so I guess my desk is a rave now. The RBG on dock is very unnecessary. It is a bit distracting, but I do like that it lets you know when the mouse is fully charged. You can turn off the RGB on the dock with the touch pad, but it doesn’t work consistently. I just leave it off for now.

Comfort

The mouse is surprisingly comfortable. Cheap mice always tend to destroy my hands and render them useless after an hour of use. I can work all day and game the hours in between without any issue. While the mouse does look simple, it feels like it has been molded for my hand specifically. I wouldn’t get this as an ergonomic solution if you struggle with a repetitive stress injury, but you lucky folk out there were young healthy hands will love how the Nex feels.

Performance

I was able to do a few raids and even did some of my most repetitive data entry work with the Epomaker Nex and have no complaints. The adjustable DPI made it easy to switch between work flows, and the long lasting battery give me about the boasted 50 hours of uninterrupted work. Not that you are ever in danger of losing power because you always know how much battery you have left.

I did not notice any dip in performance during my testing. Everything seems responsive enough for my casual level of gaming, and the mouse switches between connections seamlessly. Overall, the Epomaker Nex is great value for the price.

Gimmicks

I will be honest, I don’t think the screens on the mouse of charging port are necessary. I rarely ever looked at either of the screens, and the mouse was always charged because I would leave on the dock. I absolutely love the charging dock. Not only does it make keeping my mouse charge convenient and stylish, it acts as a dongle. I am always struggling to find enough charging ports, and I am happy I can free up one to keep using my Epomake Nex.

The Nex also includes grip tape with design on it. I never installed it because it looks ugly. I’ve used it with the Epomaker Click Lite and didn’t think it added enough utility to merit the install so they went into the trash. I do prefer the Carbonis mouse for its textured finish, but I didn’t really feel the need even with my sweaty hands.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a cheap mouse, Epomaker made a hitter with the Nex Lite. The mouse is the perfect shape, weight, and it performs when you need it. If you don’t want to break the bank, or just need something for the next LAN party that you don’t mind losing (you will after using it), then pick up the Epomake Nex Lite. Anime lovers will love the freshest pair of headphones coming from our friends over at Redragon. The sleek clean design can go from work casual to waifu formal with a simple plate swap. But these headphones are not just a meer gimick to pull in anime fans. The H510s are backed by the high quality engineering that Redragon has been flooding the market with. If you are looking for a fresh new pair of headphones and don’t mind a bit of cute waifu action, you might want to pick up a pair of the Redragon Zeus H510s.

Aesthetic

Redragon has productively spent its time crafting towards the gaming aesthetic, and the H510s are proof. The headphones have that Esport flare you know you want for your next stream. The interchangeable faceplates make it perfect for those indecisive folks who like to change up their look, but its also nice to switch to the normal plates when I need to take them into the office. Most importantly, you can’t have gaming peripherals without that RGB. The Zues H510s have soft RGB that shines around the edges of the plates to give your waifu a little added flare. And for those of you who don’t want the lightshow, it can be easily turned off with the press of a button.

Controller

The Zues H510 comes with a controller on the high-quality and sturdy braided cable. The controller allows gamers to adjust the volume, mute the mic, and control (turn off) the rgb. Very handy for the gamer who doesn’t want to bother with keybinds.

Performance

Redragon promises clear, lossless audio with its 7.1 surround-sound for some precise and immersive gameplay. The 53mm drivers deliver a full range of sound for a fuller sound stage. The wired connection means you don’t have to worry about losing battery, or any loss in quality that comes from wireless. Most importantly, the noise cancellation mic is ready to deliver your crisp and clear voice the next time you team up with your friends. When you need a headset that works when you need it, you might want to reach for the Redragon Zeus H510.

Comfort

The Zeus H510 is more than just its anime gimmick and clear sound stage. Redragon promises a comfortable headset that is built to last. The headset features an adjustable headband so it fits even my giant head. The fabric memory foam on the ear pieces and headband not only give users that cozy comfortable hug you want for long gaming sessions, it wont start looking ugly like the fake leather other headphones use.

Review

I was ready to discount the Zues H510 headset as a cheap trap for anime fans. I was thrown off by how light the headset was and it didn’t help that it was flexible. After using the headset for a couple weeks, I was surprised by how wrong I was. These headphones may not deliver the audiophile soundstage you think you crave, but they deliver a good enough sound to earn their daily driver status. The mic is surprisingly fantastic, and might be the only reason you should consider these headphones (aside from the cute anime girls). Most importantly, these are a very comfortable pair. If you are looking for a new pair of headphones, you should grab yourself a pair of the Zeus H510s in any edition (but the Anime edition is the best).

Quality

After the initial shock of how light these headphones were, the quality was pretty impressive. Everything is cleanly machined and the headset seem to be built with quality materials. The flex in the band is a little worrying, but I have a huge head and had no issues. The printing of the anime girls on the plates is beautiful! The images are clear, the colors are vibrant, and there there is a slight texture that feels so good to the touch. It doesn’t feel like these are rubbing off anytime soon.

Aesthetic

I got the Zues H510 in the anime edition because they match my Artemis K719. After using two very cool looking anime themed products, I think I can say that Redragon does right by its anime fans. The design is very modern, and they remind me of the headsets I see on esports. The RGB effect is very subtle, and I like that it goes around the anime plates instead of shinning through it. Its an effect I won’t ever notice, but its nice to think about when I am playing games.

Sound Quality

The sound isn’t audiophile level, but its good enough for normal use cases. Unless you’re paying for that tidal subscription for lossless audio, it doesn’t really matter what you use. I can tell the difference between these and something like the Kiwi Eclipse, but the difference isn’t enough to turn me off. The sound is full enough for most of my needs. There was enough base for my hiphop, there was enough surround sound for my asmr, and they are really good at blocking out a lot of the external noise. I know my wife hates these because I can never hear when she is calling for me.

The surround sound is pretty impressive. It isn’t complete immersion, but it isn’t a marketing gimick either. I remember jumping a few times because I could hear noises around me. Mostly, I really like how useful it is for my ASMR videos. If you are looking for an affordable headset with solid sound, the H510s are here for you.

The Mic

I saved the best for last because the mic is possibly the most important feature in a gaming headset. I was not ready at how clear and crisp the audio would be out of the box, but here I am impressed. It isn’t a studio mic, but it is a very good starting point for those of you trying to get into content creation but are on a budget. I am sure with a bit of editing and proper gates you can get very close to studio quality, but you honestly don’t really need to tinker too much. It has fantastic noise cancellation so it only picks up your beautiful voice, and it may even make it even more beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful my voice is, and I have a very ugly one.

Conclusion

Honestly, if you like anime and want more anime gear to fill up your room, Redragon knocked it out of the park with the Zues H510s. This headset not only looks cool, it has the sound and quality you want in a gaming headset. I am currently testing another pair of headphones as we speak, but I will be coming back to my babies when that review is done. 10 out of 10, no complaints.

If you are looking for a new mouse to get you out of your current elo, the Epomaker Carbonis might just be what you’ve been looking for.

Design

The Epomaker Carbonis dazzles with its unique modern design. This high quality gaming mouse comes in two colors: Black/Gold and Black Purple. I got mine in Black/Gold, but it was a very hard decision.

The Carbonis‘ unique pattern not only gives it its elegance, but makes the mouse sweat and fingerprint resistant. That means no more gross plastic after raid night! The composite carbon fiber shell is light weight and durable for that added peace of mind. The shell has been designed to perfectly fit most right-handed people for long comfortable sessions. To finalize the modern look, the Carbonis comes with a small LED screen to show readers the battery remaining as well as the current DPI setting.

Functionality

The Carbonis boasts fast speed and low latency with its wireless and wired connections. Users can easily switch between connections with a flick of the switch. You can also enjoy the fast wired connection when the 300mAh hour runs out of battery. The DPI can be easily adjusted with the onboard buttons so you always have the perfect speed for your workflow. For those of you who need a little added utility, the buttons, polling rate, DPI, and other useful features can all be easily adjusted through the official software (no download required).

Review

I am not going to lie, I was a little disappointed when I opened up the box. At first glance, the mouse is kind of ugly. I am not a fan of the wavy pattern, and a prefer a much heavier mouse. After using for as long as I did, this has replaced the ergonomic mouse I was daily driving. I don’t even know where my old mouse is anymore. The Carbonis is a fantastic mouse and an easy upgrade for any gamer or professional looking for a high quality mouse that works great and feels good in your hand.

Quality

The light weight design at first had me worried, but I think I am just used to a heavier mouse. I might have been a little biased. Out of the box, the mouse is fine. The pattern is very well done, the shape has been carefully crafted, and I didn’t notice any fabrication errors. Everything on this mouse is printed clearly and boldly, so I don’t think it will be rubbing off anytime soon. Most importantly, the buttons feel good and have a very addicting sound. I trust this mouse with my most sweaty team fights.

Aesthetic

The aesthetic is where the mouse loses me a bit. I am not a fan of the pattern, but I do appreciate the function. As a sweaty gamer, I understand when a cheap mouse is not up to the task. I never felt like my grip was in jeopardy. Most importantly, the mouse doesn’t feel gross after the those long gaming sessions. I got the Black and Gold version, so maybe it looks better in purple, but this is definitely a case where the utility outweighs the aesthetic.

Performance

I had no issues with my two weeks of testing the mouse. I used it for both gaming (I play a lot of Guild Wars 2) and all of my data entry work. This mouse performed very well under my very heavy hand. There was no latency on any of the three connections, with a speed I can always rely on. I love that I can change the DPI with the push of a button. The default setting were good enough for my workflow and gaming needs, but you can adjust it easily with software if needed.

The battery life is fine. I kept charging it when ever LED screen showed it was getting low so I can’t tell you how much use I got, but I was definitely able to get through the full eight hours on a single charge. Best of all, the charging port is in a convenient spot so you don’t ever have to break your stride (unlike the the Apple Mouse I wasted my money on).

Comfort

I wouldn’t call the Carbonis mouse exclusively ergonomic. If you suffer from hand pain and need an ergonomic solution, get a mouse with a ball and thank me later. For normal people however, the mouse has a comfortable grip.

In my journey to save my hands, I find that a lot of the advertising is a little misleading. Mice that have been designed to fit the hand don’t generally fit my hand, but the Carbonis fits wonderfully. (I have big hands). I did not understand how good the design for the Carbonis was until I had to use one of the loaner mice at work and it destroyed my hand in minutes. The Carbonis doesn’t destroy my hands, and I am able to get a healthy amount of use before my hands start cramping. Now I do have a repetitive stress injury that flares up with the wrong ergonomics, but the Carbonis is good enough and reliable enough to become a daily driver. I do have to take the occasional break, but I also have my backup roller mouse for the bad days.

I know I do not like the design, but man is the function cool. As a gamer with very sweaty hands, I like that my mouse isn’t a gross mess after I am done with it. This is a very comfy mouse for those gamers that spend a little too much time in online, team based games.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a good gaming mouse, the Epomaker Carbonis is king. This is a very comfy mouse with the functionality to back it up. Sure it might look ugly, but how often are you really looking at your mouse? The only problem I have with the Carbonis is with the wireless Dongle. Instead of a traditional usb that you plug into a slot, you get small rechtagle that you have to plug into your computer using the only USB-C to USB-A cable included in the kit. This not only looks ugly, but I am pretty sure I am breaking the dongle before the year is done because it will fall on the ground and I won’t notice it. People who use Bluetooth can rest easy. Other than that, this is a fantastic mouse that I will be daily driving. Get yours today!

If you are looking for a cool looking keyboard that is won’t break your bank and will keep up with your complex workflow, Epomaker might have found the answer in the TH80 V2 Pro.

Design

The TH80 V2 Pro is Epomaker’s stylish keyboard, full stop. This 75% keyboard comes with 75 backlight keys, a knob, and an customizable LED screen. The keyboard is available in three colors: black, white, and pink. I got mine in pink because it is my favorite color, so there is some bias on why pink is the only right answer. But for those who want a little less color, the the other two options will be an upgrade against any setup. Epomaker really went all out on creating luxury looking keyboards at a more reasonable price.

You can pick up the TH80 V2 with either the Creamy Jade or Sea Salt Silent switches. The Creamy Jades give you that wonderful typing ASMR plants crave, while the Sea Salts are for the people who want to be alone with their thoughts. Either options is good, it is just a matter of preference.

Comfort

The TH80 V2 Pro promises comfort built into its aesthetic. The gasket design helps keep the sound manageable, or completely silent if that’s your whole vibe (or if you want to be mindful of the people around you). The switches are are soft, giving enough tactile feedback to make it a good typing experience without any of the fatigue. The natural typing angle is fine for most people, but there are kickstands available for those who prefer the steeper typing angle.

Utility

The Epomaker TH80 V2 Pro promises to be a powerful tool at a reasonable price. Users will appreciate the low-latency, fast connection on both its wireless and wired connections. With an impressive 10000mAh battery, users can enjoy an advertised 200 hours of use before reaching for the wire. Luckily, there is a handy LED screen to let you know when the battery is running low so you are never left scrambling for a cable while you should be focusing on your rotation. For those who need a bit more utility or customization, the keyboard can be easily customized with the official Epomaker software. Review

I love the TH80 V2 Pro. If you need a keyboard that works great out of the box and you don’t want to fiddle with customization, this is the keyboard you get. The TH80 V2 looks great, feels amazing, and it has a fantastic battery. I honestly don’t want move on from this keyboard because of how good the experience is, but I have to work, and here we are.

Quality

I am very impressed with how well made this keyboard is. Out of the box, I notice no imperfections. The machining is clean, and most importantly, the keys are very well made. The font is legible, the keycaps feel good, and the printing is clean. Sometimes with cheaper keyboards, you can tell that they skimped on the keycaps, but the TH80 feels wonderful. Now I didn’t try swapping out the key caps or switches. I am looking at this keyboard from a more casual perspective. I’ve taken apart cheap keyboards before and while the user facing parts of the keyboard is good, what’s in between isn’t. I am not sure if that is the case here, but if you aren’t trying to swap anything out, I think you are in a good place.

Aesthetic

I was blown away by how good the keyboard looks. I got the TH80 V2 Pro pink because it is the best looking scheme (I am biased). The chery blossom detail is cool, and I love the the ombre effect of the color scheme. It is a very good looking keyboard in person, and the reason I won’t swap out a thing even though it is advertised as easy to do so. Honestly, the black with the clear keys looks very cool and futuristic, while the simple white has the modern yet quite flare. Whatever choice you make, you are getting a high quality machine that people are going to ask you about.

Performance

The keyboard kept up with my workflow at a satisfactory rate. I noticed no ghosting or latency, and I was able to do some GW2 without any issue. I am so hyped for Guild Wars 3, I even started doing a little reforged on my phone. Anyways, I love that I can switch between devices easily and quickly. My workflow requires me to switch between four or five different devices throughout the day, but I think I am an outlier. Most importantly, the battery life is amazing. I haven’t charged the keyboard since I’ve gotten it, and I keep all the lights one. I don’t know how many hours I have on my TH80, but it is getting close to 200. That alone is worth its weight in gold.

As for customization, I didn’t download the official software. I am sure it is safe, easy, but I honestly didn’t have a need for it. The keyboard looks great and works great out of the box. If you are a casual user looking for something that just works, the TH80 V2 Pro will do just that.

Comfort

Comfort was one of the reasons why I didn’t want my time with the TH80 V2 Pro to end. I wouldn’t say this keyboard is ergonomic, although it does feel very close, but I was able to use the keyboard for very long hours without any hand pain. The switches are very soft to the touch, but give enough tactile feedback to be satisfying, and there was no fatigue. If you don’t or can’t have the constant typing ASMR, the Sea Salts are fantastic. They feel good, but they also give a subtle thud with each press for an experience that is both soothing and disruptive. I will buy a keyboard for its sound, but it was nice to have something that was quite for a change. I know my wife really appreciates the silence.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a keyboard that works and looks good, the TH80 V2 Pro is a fantastic option. The keyboard comes in three very good looking colors, and it has been a delight to use. This is easily one of my favorite keyboards to use, and I am looking for a way to incorporate it in my daily routine after I move on to my next keyboard. Do yourself a favor, and go pick up the TH80 V2 Pro.

To maximize the M811 Pro’s utility, each of the 15 macro buttons can be customized for and reprogrammed with the macros you need. While the mouse doesn’t have rapid fire for FPS, you do have an easily adjustable dpi (up to 26000) so the mouse is always as fast as you need it to be. At this price, you’d be hard pressed to find anything better.

Review

If you are looking for an affordable MMO that works, the M811 Pro is a fine choice. You get a cool looking mouse with enough buttons for what you need. I might opt for the the wired version for a more reliable mouse or if you need a cheaper option, but I had no issues with the wireless version.

Quality

My first impression of the mouse is good. The mouse doesn’t look or feel cheap out of the box. The machining is clean, and the numbers and etchings are clean and legible. The buttons don’t have the cheap plastic click, and it feels like it can survive those long, sweaty raid nights. One complaint I do have is that my oily hands seem to leave the mouse discolored after a few hours of use. Wiping it after use seems to give the mouse it’s natural glow, but I do worry the coat might start pealing after a while. For $40 tho, I’m not complaining but I recommend getting it in black.

Aesthetic

One thing I will say about Redragon is that they know how to design into the gaming aesthetic. This is a very gaming looking mouse and you are either going to love or hate the aesthetic. I think the design is fine, and I appreciate the attempts at good ergonomics. The mouse has groves on it to allow the hand to sit more naturally on the mouse. I have big hands and found it to be a perfect fit, but people will smaller hands will struggle (especially when reaching for the buttons). The RGB effects are fine. I like that they are subtle, but you aren’t really seeing the effects anyways.

Engraving

I opted to get my M811 Pro engraved. The engraving is clean and legible, but it isn’t very visible if the RGB is off. I is a nice enough effect for those who want to add a touch of personality to their accessories, but I wouldn’t personally wouldn’t spend the extra money on getting an engraving. It is nice to look down at my desk and see my name light up though. I guess I am a little conceited in that way.

Performance

The Aatrox M811 Pro works great out of the box. I was up and gaming without having to adjust any of the settings. I did eventually opt for a more faster dpi setting because of my workflow, but I didn’t have a need to install third party software. After my week of testing, I didn’t notice any dips in performance. The mouse is responsive enough for Guild Wars 2 meta events and some pvp. I might reprogram the side buttons for a more efficient loadout in the future, but for now, it’s good enough. The battery life is very impressive, and I was able to get about the 20 advertised hours of use. I appreciate any excuse to eliminate wire clutter.

Comfort

Comfort is where I had issues with the M811 pro. Now I have repetitive stress injury that requires a certain level of ergonomics. My experience isn’t universal. There are cheap mice out that there that leave my hand with so much pain, I lose the use my hands. It never got that bad with the M811, but there was enough soreness that prompted frequent breaks. I could get a respectable hour of use between those breaks, which is probably healthier than the alternative. The shape does feel perfect for the size of my hand, but I would have preferred a steeper slant for a more natural grip.

I like the idea of the slanted buttons, but it did get some getting used to. The top four buttons were easy to reach, but I had trouble with the bottom four. The placement put my hand in an awkward position that would trigger some discomfort. Again, this isn’t going to be an issue for everyone, but it is an issue for the older gamers like me who need better ergonomics. If you just need a beater mouse for travel or LAN parties and don’t want to risk losing your expensive mouse, its comfortable enough.

Conclusion

For the price, you aren’t getting much better than the Aatrox M811 pro (or the wired version for added savings). You get a mouse with enough buttons for what you need, with enough quality to get you back into the game. If you need an ergonomic solution, this shouldn’t be your main mouse. For me, its good enough because of how long parenting allows me to game, but those with more time to game won’t like it. While the quality is solid, especially for the price point, I don’t expect it to be a for ever mouse. It is good for those who need a spare, a beater, or a travel mouse, but it isn’t a permanent solution. As someone who has done a lot of gaming with several different mice, I would argue that none ever are.

Aesthetic

KiiBOOM continues to prove that it has the cutest collection of keyboards with the newest version of the Phantom81. This 75% keyboard comes in three colors: pink, clear, and black. I got my Phantom81 in pink because I love pink, but I am sure the other colors are cool too.

As always, you are getting a clean designed gasket that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The clear keycaps are cute, but they are designed for a comfortable tying experience. Each lights up with a beautiful and customizable back light for those who prefer the light light show, but it can just as easily be turned off for a more subtle keyboard experience. The semi-translucent body gives it that extra flare. Those cute little paw feet at the bottom are functional while maximizing the keyboard’s cozy aesthetic.

Comfort

The Phantom81 looks good while providing users a comfortable experience. The contoured keycaps feel good to the touch, while the switches give the soft typing experience needed for those long gaming sessions. The gasket design and the Pink Rose switches work together to create the iconic typing sound you want from a mechanical keyboard. While the keyboard does not have kickstands for adjusting the typing angle, the default angle is ideal for most users.

Perfomance

If you are looking for a keyboard that also compliments your gaming, the Phantom81 V4 is ready to deliver. The keyboard promises fast, low latency connections on all three modes: wired, wireless, and Bluetooth. It also has VIA support for a bit more versatility. Get ready to load it up with all the macros and speed run through all your activities! The 8000mAh battery will give you peace of mind on either of the wireless connections, but the high quality braided cable is there for you when you need it the most. For you crazies like me out there that consistently switch between devices, the keyboard suppord a wireless dongle and three Bluetooth 5.0 connections.

I may be the biggest KiiBOOM fanboy at this point, but for good reason. KiiBOOM once again delivers a high quality product that looks good, feels great, and keeps up with all my gaming needs. If you are looking for an aesthetic upgrade, and have the means to splurge a bit, the Phantom81 V4 is a worth it every single time.

Quality

I have never had an issue with KiiBOOM products, even when my mailman destroys my package. This keyboard was very well packaged, in possibly one of the cutest presentations I’ve come across in my short career reviewing their products. The keyboard itself is well machined, without any visible signs of cheapness or imperfections. The keycaps are all clean and well injected, and they feel wonderful to the touch. The Phantom81 V4 looks and feels like a luxury keyboard, and perfect for those looking for a clean and cozy aesthetic.

Aesthetic

The Phantom81 V4 is perfect for those looking for a cute keyboard. The semi-transparent design is well executed, giving it a unique look and feel. The RGB looks good, and gives the keyboard its unique flare. Some people may not like the rave on their desk, but I am always a fan. The keyboard looks good with everything off, if that’s more your vibe. Speaking of vibes, the cute cat paws that keep the keyboard stable are adorable. While no one will ever see them, I like the fact that my keyboard has cat paws. (My daughter loves it too). This keyboard is clean and elegant, and ready to upgrade your aesthetic with its presence alone.

Performance

I have never had an issue with the a KiiBoom product, and I am happy to report that it didn’t start now. During my testing, I didn’t notice any ghosting or latency. The keyboard handled all my gaming (mostly Guild Wars 2) without much issue. Who else is excited for Guild Wars 3 tho?

Switching between connections was quick and seamless. I didn’t notice any reduction in performance between connections or devices. I didn’t play around with VIA too much outside of the few data entry macros I use for work, but setting those up was easy. I am sure anyone can maximize the keyboards utility with a bit more effort. The battery life is amazing, and I can’t really remember how many times I had to charge this keyboard. I think I got at least 10 hours of use with everything on, but I always lost track of time because it felt so long. The Phantom81 V4 is as reliable for gaming as the advertising suggests, and I am sad I need to move on to other keyboards.

Comfort

Usually when I try out keyboards, there is a period of awkwardness where I have to adjust to the new keyboard. The differences in layout, switches, keycaps, and size always take some getting used to. Sometimes, this means a painful day or two of adjustment, but I didn’t get that with the Phantom81 V4. I wouldn’t say this is an ergonomic keyboard, but it is ergonomic enough to keep my repetitive stress injury at bay for those long typing sessions. While my wife hated every minute of this keyboard, I appreciate the soothing thacky typing sound that comes unique to the phantom series. It is a little on the loud side, so be mindful of where you use it. Some folks are weird and don’t appreciate the typing ASMR like we do.

Conclusion

The Phantom81 V4 proves KiiBOOM is a brand that can deliver a cute aesthetic without sacrificing on quality or performance. If you are looking for a excuse to upgrade your aesthetic, here it is. Review

After a month of testing, my monitors stand securely on my desk. I moved these arms several times a day because of my work flow, and I have yet to notice any dip in performance. The Huanuo FlowLift dual monitor arm is the perfect solution for those who want a cleaner workspace that is affordable and doesn’t skimp on quality. I love the FlowLift, and it would be my main setup if I wasn’t so in love with the NitroGlide mount.

Quality

Out of the box, users will be impressed with the mounts clean manufacturing. The metal feels and looks high quality, which is something you need in a monitor mount. Monitors are expensive and the last thing you need is for your arms to give out and your set up come crashing down. I have little doubt in the reliability of these arms because of how well they stay in the several positions I transitioned to throughout the day. I like that you can see the spring. While I don’t know much about springs, they got the job done. The only complaint I have is that the wire management system does feel a little flimsy, but if you aren’t constantly adding and removing wires through the system, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Easy of Installation

It took me maybe 15 minutes to install these, and some of the time was dedicated to taking down my old setup. The instructions are clear and intuitive, and the kit itself doesn’t take many steps to finish. You will need a couple of tools to finish the installation like a better alan wrench, but it isn’t a difficult or demanding build. I am a huge fan of the InstaMount VESA Plates. Essentially, you install a plate to the back of your monitors and clip it to the arm. It has never been easier to install a monitor to a mount.

Customization

The FlowLift is an extremely versatile mount that gives users too many options. You can easily adjust the monitor to a position that works best for you, and change it in seconds if the mood ever strikes. The mount supports dual horizontal, horizontal vertical, and dual vertical. It doesn’t support a stacked configuration, but I don’t really need that. You can then swivel, tilt, and rotate both the arms and the monitors to find the best position. I love this feature because not only do I switch between devices, but I switch between standing and sitting. I was able to always find the perfect angle whether I was working on my bed, standing, or using my laptop. Most people will probably set it and forget it, it is always nice to have the option if you need to adjust your workspace’s fung shui.

Conclusion

The only thing I didn’t like about the FlowLift is that it didn’t have the USB ports the NitroGlide has. I use these slots a lot more than I thought I would, but for those who don’t need it, the FlowLift is perfect. I would even argue that the FlowLift is better because of how much easier it is to install. If you need a high quality monitor arm that you can rely on that is at a very good price point, get the FlowLift. Trust me, this thing is amazing!

KiiBOOM continues to be my go to brand for mechanical keyboards. Not only do they manage to create keyboards that are aesthetically pleasing, they are high quality and comfortable enough to use with these old crippled hands. The Phantom81 Lite continues to be one of my favorite keyboards. If you are looking for a cute keyboard that works well for everything you need, the Phantom81 Lite is the keyboard for you.

Aesthetic

I’ve tried out almost every version of this keyboard, and I find it impossible to pick a favorite. For this review, I got to try out the clear version and it is fantastic. The opaque color makes it look so elegant, and the backlight makes it look adorable. I love the lighting effect as it shines through the clear body. All of the version’s I’ve tried have been high quality and look good, it all comes down to preference. The classic cherry switches are cool for those familiar with the layout, and while the MOA might take some getting used to, they are just as comfortable.

Quality

I have yet to be disappointed by the quality of KiiBOOM keyboards. I’ve gotten boxes that look like they were dropped from the plane they came on that work and look like nothing happened. Users will be impressed by how clean the manufacturing on the Phantom81 Lite is. Everything on this keyboard is so smooth and soft, and I am confident it will survive the more intense team fights in my future (as long as it isn’t thrown against the wall).

Comfort

I have a repetative stress injury that triggers when the keyboard’s ergonomics isn’t right. There are keyboards that ruin my hands, but I haven’t had an issue with KiiBOOM. Sure, there have been keybaords that have taken time to get used to, but I can get a respectable amount of use out of these keyboards without issue. While I wouldn’t buy the Phantom81 Lite for an ergonomic upgrade, the keyboard is comfortable enough for most cases. I’ve had keyboards that trigger my injury so bad I can’t use them, and it has never been a problem with the Phantom81 Lite. The keys are soft and typing angle is perfect.

Performance

The Phantom81 Lite was perfect for my workflow. I didn’t notice any ghosting, disconnecting, or latency. It survived my rigorous GW2 grind and my 9-5. The battery is amazing, giving me about 8 hours of continuous use without all the lights on. You can get even longer with everything off. Customizing the keyboard with macros was incredibly easy. Although I never get much use from this feature, it is nice to have for those data entry shortcuts I heavily rely on for my workflow. This will be the keyboard I will use between reviews if things ever slow down. The Phantom81 Lite has proven itself a reliable contender for your next keyboard.

Conclusion

If you want a keyboard that looks good, has all the keys you need, and is reliable, get yourself the Phantom81 Lite. This is easily one of my favorite keyboards from one of my favorite brands. It looks good in every color, and it works great out of the box. At this price point, you aren’t doing much better. Go get yours today.

If you’re a gamer on a budget but don’t want to sacrifice performance, Redragon might have the kit for you. The Redragon BS8773 comes to us with a few features that will help you stay competitive, even through those long sweaty team fights.

Design

This 78 key keyboard has been designed to give users access to all the keys they need in a compact and optimized package. This thin and ultra light keyboard comes in four colors: Black, White & Grey, White & Purple, and Blue. I got mine in Purple and love the color scheme.

The thin switch design makes the keyboard compact without sacrificing on any of that mechanical keyboard goodness. Most importantly, this wouldn’t be a gaming keyboard without RGB and the BS8773 has a very pretty blue backlight that will give your cave the flare you crave. The RGB can be turned off easily if you don’t want a light show.

Performance

If you’re looking for a keyboard that can handle you at your most intense, the BS8773 promises the performance to do just that. While the keyboard does not have Bluetooth, players can enjoy a low latency wireless connection through the attached dongle. Coupled with the keyboards impressive battery life (about 10-12 hours with all the lights on), you are getting a very reliable package for fantastic price.

The Mouse

If you are looking for a cheap, low profile keyboard/mouse combo for your daily grind, the BS8773 is fine for what it is. Don’t expect the most comfortable or luxurious experience, you’re getting a functional compact keyboard that does what it needs to. My favorite aspect of this keyboard is the mouse. The mouse is awesome and almost makes up for they keyboards drawbacks.

Quality

Out of the box, users might feel some initial disappointment. The keyboard has a cool, simple modern aesthetic, but the font on the keys already look faded. Picking up the keyboard I realized that the box it comes in is heavier than the actual keyboard. This is ideal for those who travel with their kit, and fine for those who don’t. There is some flex to the board which makes me anxious about traveling with the keyboard. I heard some odd cracks when I was testing the flex, but luckily nothing broke. The keyboard itself is made well enough. Everything is cleanly manufactured, although it does feel like cheap plastic. If you’ve never used a more expensive keyboard or keycaps, its fine for 40$. You can definitely do worse.

Aesthetic

The BS8773 has a very cool design. It is a very modern looking keyboard and the compact layout is ideal for the user who wants a full sized keyboard that doesn’t take up so much desktop space. The flat design makes it low-profile which is in step with its modern aesthetic, but I prefer something a bit more raised for comfort. The keyboard does have kickstands to adjust the height, but it isn’t tall enough for my tastes. This is a personal issue, but something to consider if you’re crazy like me. I love the color scheme, purple is my favorite color, but I can’t read the font on the keys. I know how to type without looking at the keys, but the font messes with my dyslexia and it is too faded looking for these tired old eyes. The BS8773 does have a very pretty blue backlight, and it isn’t the worst looking keyboard you’ll pull out at the LAN party.

Performance

All in all, I was very impressed with how well this little keyboard came to play. I noticed no latency, ghosting, or any other issues. Everything hooked up on the first try, and nothing malfunctioned in my week of vigorous testing. It was a solid workhorse for writing, but I found the layout a bit of an adjustment for gaming. I needed to relearn a lot of the muscle memory and it all felt too cramped. The experience got better the more I used the keyboard, but I had a rough couple of days getting used to the new echo system. I also didn’t like that keyboard connected through the dongle. I switch between devices constantantly for my workflow, so it was a little annoying to have to transfer the dongle. If you don’t need to move from one device, it isn’t an issue. The battery life is fantastic though, and honestly the best part of the whole package.

Comfort

It took me a couple days to get used to the Redragon BS8773, and in that time I almost gave up on the keyboard. Everything felt so cramped it would trigger my repetitive stress injury to the point where I needed to take breaks. However, once I got used to the layout, it was fine. For writing, this keyboard is solid. It works as intended and I could knock out long meaningful sessions without issue. For gaming, I constantly found myself fat-fingering the wrong key and messing up crucial combos. This is honestly a skill issue, and your millage will vary. I think this keyboard would be better if it didn’t include the function bar behind the macros. That said, it was comfortable enough to be worth the $40 as a daily workhorse.

The Mouse

The mouse in this kit is fantastic. Are there better mice out there? Of course there are, but for the price, you get a sleek comfortable mice that works well enough for what you need it for. My only complaint is that the thing is battery powered. I never seem to have batteries when I need them the most, and that scares me. You can buy rechargeable AAs (and I recommend you do) so I guess it isn’t a huge deal. This is probably one of the few times where the mouse messed up my hand less than the keyboard. I recommend it.

Conclusion

Look, times are tough and you shouldn’t be punished if you are gaming on a budget. The kit isn’t the high end devices the pros use, but most of us aren’t performing at that level anyways.
