Disney’s Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn – A Look at the New Ruby Cards

Rise of the Floodborn comes out this Friday, so let’s keep things moving with the Ruby card list. You can check with your LGS to see if they’ll have any products, but at this point, it’s best to wait for the big box stores to get their inventory. Don’t pay the scalpers, even the ones on TCG Player. The market will cool, but until then, there’s no shame in doing some window shopping. This card game has some amazing art, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Disney’s Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn – A Look at the New Amber Cards

Disney’s Lorcana’s second expansion, Rise of the Floodborn, releases this Friday. Unfortunately, the scalpers are in full force, and the game is looking as expensive as ever. Check with your LGS to see if they have something more reasonable, and never pay scalper prices. You can check TCG Player, but it’s a little expensive at the moment. Unfortunately, the investors are making it difficult for people who want to play the game, but cards will be reprinted, and the market will cool.

I am nowhere near financially stable enough to pick up another card game, let alone Lorcana, but I still enjoy looking at the cards and reading what they do. I absolutely adore looking at the artwork for this game. Join me as we do some hopeful window shopping and look through this set’s new releases starting with the Amber cards. Amber certainly has some cute editions, especially if you are a fan of Snow White.

The Blast Ace booster releases this Friday the 17th, so it’s time to get hyped with more Alt arts and box toppers. This set looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun to open. I definitely see some cards I want to add to my binder. Make sure you check with your LGS to see if they are running any events or to pick up some product. I couldn’t make it to prerelease, but I hope everyone who did is having a good time.

I am the most excited for the Loogamon line because the alt arts are so cool, and they’re purple! Check out my Digimon Seekers project if you haven’t done so.

More Box Toppers

Bowmon is so cute!!!! Looks like these will just be foils.

Digimon TCG: Tamer Party – The Beginning Ver. 1 Promos announced for November!

To promote the TCG and support the LGS, Bandai is encouraging casual play through special promos you can only receive from attending Tamer Party events. This gives players, new and old, a safe and casual space to play Digimon TCG. Ask your LGS to see if they are hosting any of these special events because you aren’t going to want to miss out on some of these promos. You can also use TCG Plus to search for events near you. The month of November will feature some beautiful alt cards from the new movie, Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning. ]

If you enjoy these updates, make sure you leave a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends. If buying product from your LGS isn’t possible, you can always pick up Digimon products like the new Blast Ace set from TCG Player using my affiliate links. Either way, make sure you check out these awesome promos!

Blast Ace Box Toppers and Prerelease Weekend (November 10 – 16)

Blast Ace releases November 17th, and that means it’s prerelease weekend! Make sure you check with your LGS to see if they are running any events. You can also check TCG Plus for events near you. Participants will receive a special 2-pack of stamped promo cards in addition to this cute Gatomon!

Prereleases are a great way to meet others in the community, play some Digimon, and have a great time. Winners of the event will also earn a special Greymon (X Antibody) silver foil, and it looks amazing!

Don’t forget to support your LGS. People who purchase a booster box during Prerelease weekend get an additional promo pack! Blast Ace has some solid Box-Toppers you’re going to want to get your hands on. I know it’s always cheaper to buy the singles you want, but nothing beats cracking a bunch of packs.

Pokémon’s Paradox Rift is out now, and it’s a banger!

Paradox Rift releases today! It has a lot of cool cards that will not only shift the meta but that you’ll want in your collection. I see a few full art cards I will be chasing, like that sweet Laudred.

If it isn’t obvious, Paradox Rift is also live on PTCGL. Players get access to the Roaring Moon ex and Gholdengo ex decks, which are very solid starts at the moment. I know Roaring Moon has been taking over the ladder, but at least it’s not Charizard ex. It’s going to be an awkward couple of days as the meta settles, but I am here for it. At least I start grinding the mission pass.

However you enjoy the game, this feels like a very fun set to open. If the drop rates are anything like what I’ve seen on PTCGL, I love it a lot more than 151. Make sure you always support your LGS when buying any Pokemon product, but you can always pick up Paradox Rift, or any of the other sets on TCG Player through my affiliate links.

The Digimon Card Game Tutorial App got an update, and a new Project has been teased!

The Digimon Card Game Tutorial App, available for IOS and Android devices, has been updated to include the new Wolf of Friendship and Dragon of Courage starter decks. The app is a fantastic tool for learning how to play the Digimon TCG because it offers easy to follow instructions of some fundamental mechanics. The inclusion of the newest starter decks mean that beginners can begin by learning the new ACE mechanics. If you are interested in picking up the Digimon TCG, I recommend you check out the app. I can only hope that this update will one day lead to an online client so that I can play this card game from the comfort of my home.

Bandai has also released an ambiguous trailer for a new project. It featured a new Digimon and a series of words that make me think that we may get some sort of anime or short to push the game. I can only hope that we get a web client, but there is too little information to know for sure. Whatever this is, I am excited and can’t wait to learn more!

Digimon Card Game Gift Box 2023 coming November 17 – Blast Ace

Holidays are just around the corner which means Digimon TCG is getting a new Gift Box. This year’s Gift Box features the newest set, Blast Ace. The box includes:

  • 4 x Blast Ace Boosters
  • 1/4 Unique Acrylic Sheet with memory gauge and damage counters
  • 1/4 promo cards

MSRP for the Gift box is $19.99, which isn’t a bad deal if you want to add the promos to your collection. My problem with these kits is that you only get one copy of the promos. I’d love it if it came with at least two, but I guess I can’t blame them for trying to move product.

Both the Gift Box and the Blast Ace expansion release on November 17. Make sure you pick yours up at your LGS. If that isn’t an option, I’d hold off getting it off TCG Player because the scalpers are ripping you off. I’d wait till it comes to a big box store like Target, or preorder it off GameNerds ($19.97 + shipping).

Digimon TCG: Blast Ace Booster – Black Card List

Blast Ace releases on November 17th, so let’s keep the reveals going with the black card list. I am very excited to see characters from the Digimon Seekers web novel pop up in the card game. Black has lots of fun colors and some iconic scenes and characters from the web novel. I love the Neo Tokyo vibe of some f these cards, and all the different Numemon are a nice treat.

You can read the Digimon Seekers web novel on the official website, but I’ve also been working on cleaning up the translation on my blog. Check them out when you have a chance!

Always preorder products from your LGS, but you can always pick up Blast Aceand any other Digimon Product from TCG Player using my affiliate links. If you enjoy these updates, don’t forget to like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends.

Digimon TCG: Blast Ace Booster – Green Card List Reveal

I’ll continue the Blast Ace reveals with the green cards. I love the color scheme for the green cards in the set. There is some very cool art you are going to want to collect. Blast Ace releases on November 17, so make sure you preorder from your LGS. You can also preorder Blast Aceor any other Digimon Product from TCG Player through my affiliate links if that isn’t an option.
