Animal Colosseum releases on January 19th, so let’s get excited by looking at all the alt art cards. This set has some amazing art. It was hard to choose a favorite, but the retro frame MetalGarurumon (X Antibody) alt stands out the most. If you enjoyed the Digimon Dawn and Dusk games, the alts for the mascots are amazing! You’re definitely going to want some of these in your collection.
If you enjoy these updates, please leave a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends. If you want to can preorder Animal Colosseumor buy any of the existing sets like Blast ACE, get it over at TCG Player through my affiliate links!
I’ve been looking at the Weiss Schwarz TCG for a bit now because I like the art. Weiss Schwarz prints sets of popular IPs like Avatar the Last Air Bender, Sword Art Online, and Overlord, to name a few. There are some sets I am definitely thinking of collecting since the booster boxes aren’t expensive.
I’ll kick things off by showcasing the latest set, Guilty Gear -Strive-, released on December 15, 2023. I’ve never played the game, but some of these cards look so cool. A booster box of Guilty Gear -Strive- is only $60 on TCG Player which is cheap for a TCG.
Always support your LGS, but you can pick up Guilty Gear -Strive- or other Weiss Schwarz from TCG Player. I’ll leave links to the singles for anyone who wants them. If you like any of the IPs they cover or just want to collect some cool anime cards, check out Weiss Schwarz TCG.

Paldean Fates is coming to us on January 26th, so let’s look at the alt art cards. This set has some pretty cards you aren’t going to want to miss. I love the gold cards, and I definitely need some of the shiny ex’s for a few of my decks. Check with your LGS to preorder any product, but I’ve collected some links if that isn’t an option.
If you enjoy these updates, make sure you like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends.
Paldean Fates releases on January 26. This mini set will introduce a few shiny versions you’re going to want in your collection, but it’s also introducing some brand-new cards you are going to want to look at. I’ve collected what we have so far, and their translations. It’s going to be a long one. As of writing this, you can preorder the Pokémon Center Paldean Fates ETB ($59.99) and the Paldean Fates booster bundle ($26.94) from the Pokémon Center.

Rise of the Floodborn comes out this Friday the 17th, so let’s keep window shopping till the release. You’ll probably have to wait for the big box release anyway. Always check with your LGS for events and products, or wait till the prices on TCG Player come down a bit. We’ll keep things moving with the Amethyst cards. Amethyst is a great color for this set if you are a fan of the Sword in the Stone movie. I personally adore the Yzma cards

Rise of the Floodborn comes out this Friday, so let’s keep things moving with the Ruby card list. You can check with your LGS to see if they’ll have any products, but at this point, it’s best to wait for the big box stores to get their inventory. Don’t pay the scalpers, even the ones on TCG Player. The market will cool, but until then, there’s no shame in doing some window shopping. This card game has some amazing art, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

MS-06R-1A UMA LIGHTNING’S ZAKU Ⅱ ($35)
I couldn’t choose a favorite for the real grades because I love them all so much. First up is the MS-06R-1A Uma Lightning’s Zaku II. I love the color and details of this kit. Paradox Riftreleases today! It has a lot of cool cards that will not only shift the meta but that you’ll want in your collection. I see a few full art cards I will be chasing, like that sweet Laudred.
If it isn’t obvious, Paradox Rift is also live on PTCGL. Players get access to the Roaring Moon ex and Gholdengo ex decks, which are very solid starts at the moment. I know Roaring Moonhas been taking over the ladder, but at least it’s not Charizard ex. It’s going to be an awkward couple of days as the meta settles, but I am here for it. At least I start grinding the mission pass.
However you enjoy the game, this feels like a very fun set to open. If the drop rates are anything like what I’ve seen on PTCGL, I love it a lot more than 151. Make sure you always support your LGS when buying any Pokemon product, but you can always pick up Paradox Rift, or any of the other sets on TCG Player through my affiliate links.
If you enjoy these updates, please leave me a like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends!
I’ll end the Blast Acereveals on what has been consistently my favorite color in the card game, purple. Purple always seems to include my favorite Digimon, and the vibe is always good. We have a Loogamon line, which looks amazing! I am very excited to see it materialize in the web novel. You can also check out my version where I try to clean up the translation. I am a huge fan of the art, and any set that includes more Globimon and Ogremon wins me over instantly.
Blast Acereleases on November 17. Always support your LGS by preordering products through them, but you can always find Blast Aceand any other Digimon Product, on TCG Player using my affiliate links. If you enjoy these updates, please like, comment, follow, and share this with your friends!
And a bonus Colorless because it didn’t fit anywhere else
