This week we got to see more of the full art gold cards for the Versus Royal Knights set and they look so good! I might need to just buy the singles for these because they are going to look so good in the binder. The set is out now so make sure you pick yours up from your LGS, or TCG Player if you don’t have one. We also got to see the rest of the alt art cards that will be included in the Beezlemon Binder. Preorders are still open over on Premium Bandai.

To finish up the previews for the upcoming Lorcana set, lets go over the sapphire card list. Lorcana comes out August 18, so don’t forget to ask your LGS if they will carry it. There are lot of cool cards, especially if you like the Disney art. I am excited for what this could mean for tcgs as it brings new fans into the space, and it looks simple enough to play with kids. Let me know what you think, and don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe, and share this with your friends.

I think I am going to build a villain deck with a lot of purple. The Maleficent cards are so cool! What do you guys think?
Disney’s Lorcana comes out August 18th so lets get excited by looking at the Amber Ink card list. There are lots of cool looking cards that are going to look so good in a binder. Make sure you get all your Lorcana from your LGS and don’t forget to comment, like, subscribe, and share this with your friends!
I am loving the Lilo and Stitch cards. This set is starting off real strong, but I wonder if there will be alt art secret rares or special box toppers like you see in other TCGs to give collectors something to chase. Either way, I am very excited. How about you? Will you be buying into Lorcana?

I’ve written about the upcoming Dragonbane RPG book in a previous post. I recommend you check that out first because I won’t be repeating too much of the technical information. Dragonbane is a TTRPG that is getting its newest edition in August. It has some very cool art and some interesting mechanics. If you are looking for a new RPG system, it might be worth looking into Dragonbane. Preorders are still open on the official site. The Dragonbane bundle is currently on sale for $66.70 (normally $80.30), so now might be the perfect time to grab your copy. There is also a free quick start guide you can download from Drivethru RPG if you’d like to try the game out first.
If you are going to Gen Con this year, make sure you stop by the official Free League booth (#2641). They’ll have demos, live games, and a panel you should check out if you have any questions. I’m always looking for a new RPG system to try, this one seemed pretty neat so I thought I would share. Go check it out and let me know what you think!
I know I am a little late on this update, but I just got back from vacation. The trip was great but now its time to get back on schedule. The Versus Royal Knights set has released and we got a few more reveals that have gotten me excited for the set. Always check with your LGS if they carry Digimon, but you can find the new set on TCG Player if they don’t. If you’ve been enjoying these updates, don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe, and share this with your friends.
Versus Royal Knights Box Toppers
The box toppers aren’t the most exciting I’ve seen, but I could always use some full art tamer cards. This set will feature trainers Digimon Savers.
Versus Royal Knights Alt Art Cards
This set has some very cool alt cards that I need in my binder. The gold cards in this set are sick!
The rest of the full art cards have gotten me very excited for this set. The art is so good!
More Versus Royal Knights Reveals
I wasn’t excited about the initial reveals, but they really did leave the best for last.
Beezlemon Premium Binder Set Preorder
Preorders for the Beezlemon binder set are still open. This is a cool product to buy into if you like Beezlemon and want some of the alt art cards to spice up your deck. The bundle comes with two copies of four new unique alt cards and a binder for your cards. The alt cards look sick and Premium Bandia merch always looks great quality out of the box.
This week, we got previews for more of the full art cards from the Alternative Being(EX-04), set and they are beautiful. This set has some very cool cards that you are going to want to add to your collection. Alternative Being is in stores now, so make sure you grab a couple of packs from your LGS or TCGPlayer if they don’t carry Digimon. Don’t forget to subscribe and share if you’ve been enjoying these updates!
Alternative Being(EX-04) Full Art Cards
I’m starting off with the cutest card in this set. I need this card badly and am just about ready to sell my soul for a play set of these. If this isn’t the card that moves boxes, I don’t know what is. Sure there are some cool Greymons to chase, but how can you say no to this face?
This card looks so sick! I love the mayhem in the background and how coolly ZeedGarurumon is landing, like he is ready to cause his own mayhem. It also has some solid bounce abilities you might want to add to your deck.
I love the glow effect they added to the metal armor and weapons. I love how this looks like a painting and the heroic prescience the artist gives ChaosGallontmon. Its got removal and a chance to play it free? Sign me up.
This set does a great job with these heroic poses. This looks like it could be on the cover of comic book and would look so sick in a binder or a slab. It also has some solid removal.
The artist does a beautiful job at making BlackMegaGargomon feel massive with this one. It is raining down death and destruction with such a nonchalant expression. I love it. I love it, and the effect isn’t bad either.
The foiling for this card is going to look so good in person. I love the moonlight effect washing over Kuzuhamon and the spirit flying around it.
Another cute card I need in my binder. It’s got a solid search ability and card destruction is always nice.
This Omnimon is amazing and the foiling is going to looks pretty. I love the zombified jankiness of this form! The mummy wraps, the tethered cape, and the eyes on the cannon and sword all give it a very Frankenstein monster vibe that I am here for. It’s a purple card with solid removal and a chance to play it for free? Say no more!
Royal Knights Pre-Release
Versus Knights comes out July 21! Make sure you check with your LGS to see if they are running any pre-release so that you can pick up these cool promos. I need this Psychemon!

And for those interested in the competitive scenes. Always check your LGS for a local scene, and head over to the official site to sign up for events near you.
North America
Looks like Green and Purple are consistent contenders in this format across all regions. Might be the safest bet to buy into green, or getting the Beelzemon deck and fix it up.
Latin America
Looks like blue is making a splash in Latin America this time around.
Best Buy and Target has put up their Pokemon 151 bundles up for pre-order. The set has already sold out on the Pokemon Center site, so now might be a good time to pick up a few of the bundles before the release on November. This set is beautiful and the bundles have enough incentive to get collectors excited. I know it is going to be very hard for me to buy into this set, but I am trying. Give me a follow if you’ve been enjoying my updates, and don’t forget to share this with your friends!

I enjoy looking into new RPG systems even though my play group only plays D&D. I like to see what else is out there because the burnout gets too real sometimes. Who knows? Maybe one day I can convince my playgroup to dip into something new for a campaign or two, and I’ll be ready with a backlog of options.
One of the systems I considered switching to was the Swedish RPG MÖRK BORG. MÖRK BORG is a ttrpg set in a post-apocalyptic world with a solid combat system and possibly the coolest rulebook you’ll ever own. If you haven’t seen the MÖRK BORG core rule book yet, look it up. It is beautiful. I almost bought into the system just so that I could flip through the pages and appreciate the art.
MÖRK BORG is getting a pirate-themed spin-off, and it looks just as good as the base game. PIRATE BORG introduces eight new playable classes, 80+ new monsters, an easy-to-learn naval combat system, and an adventure to get you started. This book has everything you’ll need to run a pirate campaign in a cool dark fantasy system worth exploring. I mean, who doesn’t want to play in a pirate campaign? Make sure you check out the official site if you’d like to try the game for free. The publishers have a rules reference sheet, character sheets, maps, and a character randomizer.
Preorders for PIRATE BORG are now live on the official site. The core book costs $36.84 plus shipping, which is a solid price for how good this book is going to look on your table. People who preorder also get immediate access to the book in PDF so you can start your Pirate adventure before the official release on September 19. Don’t forget to check out the rest of MÖRK BORG content while you’re at it!
